Shruti Marathe to begin her new year with a bang
Though she has been able to gain popularity as an actress on small screen, Shruti Marathe is still trying hard to establish herself as a lead actress, in Marathi films. She did receive lead roles in few films including ‘Tujhi Majhi Love Story’; but these films didn’t do well at ticket windows. But, her performance was noticed in films like ‘Rama Madhav’, ‘Taptapadi’ and latest released film ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai-2’.
With few days left for the opening of new year, Shruti Marathe is looking forward to release of her two films ‘Sangharshayatra’ and ‘Bandh Nylonche’, in which she has prominent roles to play. While in ‘Sangharshayatra’, she plays the role of Pankaja Munde , the young dynamic leader and daughter of late BJP leader late Gopinath Munde, in ‘Bandh Nylonche’ she plays opposite Subodh Bhave , which is also equally important role, as she has to react more, instead of delivering her dialogues, which are very limited to her share. But, Shruti is happy with these two roles and is eagerly waiting for the release of these two films.

This film, directed by Jatin Wagle, is based on the one act play with the same name, written by Ambar Hadap and Ganesh Pandit. So, it will be interesting to see the cinematic version of this subject, on big screen.

Music of this film is by Amitraj, while the DOP is Shirish Desai. The first poster of this film has just been released and the film will release all over Maharashtra on 29th January 2015.
