Marathi films are going worldwide. Now, we find even Hollywood film makers taking interest in producing a Marathi film. East West Company which has produced many Hollywood films, including award winning films like ‘Kundalini’ & ‘ Together Forever’, have now made a Marathi film ‘Paratu’ which is directed by NRI Nitin Adsul, who has settled in USA for a long time.

Recently, Nitin completed the shooting of this film in Maharashtra and Rajasthan. The film stars well known artistes from Marathi and Hindi film industry. They are, Kishore Kadam, Smita Tambe, Saurabh Gokhale, Gayatri Deshmukh, Anshuman Vichare, Navnee Parihar, Raja Bundela ,Ravi Bharatiya and child artiste Yash Pande.

The film’s story, which is unique and set on the backdrop of 1968 to 1985 period; is written by Clerk Mack Milliam, Nitin Adsul, & Daryl Cocks. The dialogues in Marathi are penned by Mayur Deval, DOP is Sanjay Khanjode and music is by Shashank Powar. The theme song in this film is by Shankar Mahadevan.
