Everest Entertainment and WetCloud Productions along with director Sachin Goswami launched the grand trailer of their forthcoming Marathi film ‘Gulkand‘ in traditional style. The two families in the film Dhavale family (Sai Tamhankar & Sameer Chougule) and Mane family ( Isha Dey & Prasad Oak) took their entry for this event on scooter and Bullet respectively. And they danced on the music of the song ‘Chal Jaoo Date var’.

The story of the film presents Dhavale’s daughter Meenakshi and Mane’s son Onkaar bringing two families together for their marriage. But, it results in creation of new relationships. Anyway, the details of this complication will be revealed on 1st May 2025, when this film will be released in theatres. But, one thing is sure that it will be family comedy starring Sai Tamhankar,  Sameer Chougule, Isha Dey, Prasad Oak, Vanita Kharat, Mandar Mandavkar, Jui Bhagwat, Tejas Raut, and Sharvil Aagte in lead roles.

After making official announcement with release of poster of their film ‘Gulkand’ sometime back, now producers Sachin Goswami, Sachin Mote and Sanjay Chhabriya and director Sachin Goswami have released the teaser of this film on the occasion of Valentines’ day. The teaser of this film shows humor filled story of two couples Dhavale and Mane.

Teaser of this film also makes it clear that Sai Tamhankar has been paired with comedy King Sameer Chougule, who is playing a lead hero for the first time. Similarly Prasad Oak will be seen in lead role opposite Isha Dey. Popular artistes Prasad Oak and Amruta Khanvilkar have been conferred with Fakt Marathi Cine sanman recently by the Fakta Marathi Entertainment Channel. Both these artistes were nominated along with other versatile artistes in the Best actor and Best actress category, but both of them have emerged winners, when their names were announced at a Special ceremony held at The Club, Andheri. Prasad received the honours for his performance in the film ‘Dharmaveer’, while Amruta received the same for her performance in the film ‘Chandramukhi’.

Film ‘Dharmaveer’ also won two more awards for Best film and best direction ( Praveen Tarde). Renowned Make Up man Vidyadhar Bhatte was felicitated on this occasion for his contribution in this field. Music director duo Ajay Atul, Veteran Actor Ashok Saraf was conferred with Special award and popular actress Sonalee Kulkarni was presented with Vicco Popular Face of the Year award. This being the first year of Fakta Sanmaan, there were entertaining presentations, including dance performances by Sonalee Kulkarni, Kishori Shahane and Varsha Usgaonkar.  Marathi film ‘Dharmaveer’ which celebrates 50^th  day of its release, is now available on Zee 5 OTT platform. A well presented film by director Pravin Tarde ,‘Dharmaveer‘ focusses more on the ideology of dynamic Shiv Sena leader from Thane Late Anand Dighe and actor Prasad Oak has done full justice to this character of a revolutionary leader, with his wonderful performance. But, more than that director Pravin Tarde has cleverly made this two hours 50 minutes long film interesting, with action filled sequences supported by some attention grabbing emotion filled moments.

The Character of the present chief minister of Maharashtra Mr. Eknath Shinde has lot of prominence in this film, as he is shown as the most trusted man of Anand Dighe. The focus is more on the present day happening where the character of Mr. Eknath Shinde as Minister played by Kshitij Date walks in for the 20^th death anniversary event of his mentor Late Anand Dighe, which is being covered by a female Journalist . She has very little knowledge about Mr. Anand Dighe through Google search and is briefed by a local Auto Rickshaw driver and his narration about Dharmaveer Anand Dighe takes you in flashback.

Technically it is a well made film with perfect editing work by Mayur Hardas and excellent cinematography by Kedar Gaikwad. Many renowned Marathi artistes like Mohan Joshi, Abhijit Khandkekar, Mangesh Desai have appeared in small but important roles in this film. At the same time Kshitij Date, Shruti Marathe, Makarand Padhye, Vijay Nikam, Snehal Tarde and others have supported well through their respective important characters. ‘Dharmaveer’ is certainly a worth watch film, to understand the rise of Shiv Sena in Maharashtra politics with the help of such a dedicated leader  from Thane and his trusted team members.
