Ever since the announcement of the film ‘Dharmaveer Mu. Po. Thane (धर्मवीर मु.पो. ठाणे)’ there was a lot of curiosity among people, as to who will play the title role Late Anand Dighe. But now, the curtain has been raised. It is now confirmed that Prasad Oak will be playing this title in this film, which will be presented by Zee Studios. To be directed by Praveen Vitthal Tarde, this film is produced by Mangesh Desai under his banner Sahil Motion Arts and Zee Studios together.

It may be recalled that Anand Dighe was a committed social worker and leader from Thane, who helped many poor and needy people fighting against injustice. Though he is not alive today, he remains in the hearts of several people from Thane. According to makers of this film, it was a big challenge to make a film on his life, but they have succeeded in their mission. This film on his life will now be released on 13^th May all over Maharashtra.
