Pravin Tarde announces ‘Deool Band 2′ release date
In the year 2015 Praveen Vitthal Tarde released his film ‘Deool Band’ which tried to connect science with spirituality. The film received very good response from film lovers. It was expected that the Part 2 of the film will be followed soon. Now, after eleven years, Writer- director Praveen Tarde has made official announcement of ‘Deool Band 2′ after releasing digital poster of this film on social media. This film will be released all over the world on 21st May 2026.
After ‘Deool Band’ Writer- director- actor Pravin Tarde gained a lot of popularity with the release of his other films like ‘Mulshi Pattern’, ‘Sarsenapati Hambirrao’, ‘Dharmaveer’, ‘Dharmaveer 2′. Now, ‘Deool Band 2′ is also expected to do well at the box office. Now, with a tagline used ‘Aata Pariksha Devachi…’ , this Part 2 has also raised more curiosity about the film’s subject and also who will be performing in this film? This film is produced by Kailash Wani, Jayashree Kailash Wani, Kaiwalya Wani and Juilee Wani Suryavanshi.

‘Dharmaveer 2′ premiered on Zee5 on 25th Oct
‘Dharmaveer 2′ Mukkam Post Thane’ directed by Praveen Tarde is now all set to release on Zee 5 OTT platform soon. Directed by Praveen Tarde, this film which is a biopic on Dharmaveer Anand Dighe covered part of his life in Part 1 of Dharmaveer film. Now, in Part 2 the film presents his close association with the present Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Eknath Shinde and their selfless service to the society together.
We saw Prasad Oak in the role of Dharmaveer Anand Dighe and he continues with his dashing performance in part 2 along with Kshitij Date who plays the role of Mr. Eknath Shinde. So, after attaining success with their ‘Dharmaveer Part 1′ now Zee5 have released ‘Dharmaveer 2′ on their OTT platform.
Speaking about his role in this film, lead actor Prasad Oak says, “It was a big challenge before me, to portray the character of Anand Dighe sahib and while performing that character, I enjoyed every moment.” Indeed, both Prasad and Kshitij have performed their respective roles, with total commitment.
Dev Gill to make his debut in Marathi film ‘Aho Vikramarka’
South Superstar Dev Gill will be making his debut as an action hero in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Aho Vikramarka’ which is being made under his own Dev Gill production. After announcement of this film, there was curiosity among Dev’s fans about this film. So, his fans have made a 75 feet tall poster for their hero, which has become viral on social media. An action filled trailer of this film has also been released.
In this film Dev Gill plays a dashing Police Officer Speaking about this film, Dev says that he has produced this film for his mother and is confident that it will entertain audience. Dev respects Maharashtrian culture, as he originally belonged to Pune. Dev has received support from Marathi artistes Sayaji Shinde, Pravin Tarde, Tejaswini Pandit and Anil Nagarkar in this film. Prajakta Mali announces release date of her film ‘Phulvanti’ on her birthday
Popular Marathi actress Prajakta Mali has announced the release date of her own production ‘Phullwanti’ on the occasion of her birthday today. This film which is based on the novel of Padmavibhushan Late Babasaheb Purandare, will be released on 11th October 2024. The motion poster of this film, projecting Prajakta Mali with attractive ornaments, was also released today.
Produced by Prajakta Mali along with Kumar mangat Pathak, Abhishek Pathak, Mangesh Pawar & Shweta Mali, this film is directed by Snehal Tarde and this is her debut as a director through this film. Pravin Vitthal tarde has written the dialogues of this film and the cinematography is by Mahesh Limaye. Avinash- Vishwajeet have are the music directors of this film for Panorama Music.
Speaking about her film, Prajakta says, “I was waiting to give you good news about my film’s release and on the occasion of my birthday, I have announced the release date of this film. With this film, I made my entry as a producer and in the process learned many things.” Talking about the selection of this subject for her film, she said that she was highly impressed with this novel and had made up her mind to make a film on this subject.
First song by Shreya Ghoshal from the film ‘Baloch’ released
The first song from the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Baloch’ has been released in the voice of popular singer Shreya Ghoshal. The song is written by Guru Thakur and the music is composed by Narendra Bhide. With suitable title wordings ‘Khulya Jivala Aas Khuli ’ this romantic song has been picturised on husband and wife played by Pravin Tarde and Smita Gondkar.
The song clearly displays the happiness of the wife who is happy with whatever little time she finds in the company of her warrior husband, be it while exercising or relaxing at home. And this gives a clear indication that besides being an action packed film with fight against injustice, it will also present a love story. We are all aware that the role of the wife of a soldier fighting for the country is equally important in his family.

Prasad Oak, Amruta Khanvilkar win Fakt Marathi Cine sanman
Popular artistes Prasad Oak and Amruta Khanvilkar have been conferred with Fakt Marathi Cine sanman recently by the Fakta Marathi Entertainment Channel. Both these artistes were nominated along with other versatile artistes in the Best actor and Best actress category, but both of them have emerged winners, when their names were announced at a Special ceremony held at The Club, Andheri. Prasad received the honours for his performance in the film ‘Dharmaveer’, while Amruta received the same for her performance in the film ‘Chandramukhi’.
Film ‘Dharmaveer’ also won two more awards for Best film and best direction ( Praveen Tarde). Renowned Make Up man Vidyadhar Bhatte was felicitated on this occasion for his contribution in this field. Music director duo Ajay Atul, Veteran Actor Ashok Saraf was conferred with Special award and popular actress Sonalee Kulkarni was presented with Vicco Popular Face of the Year award. This being the first year of Fakta Sanmaan, there were entertaining presentations, including dance performances by Sonalee Kulkarni, Kishori Shahane and Varsha Usgaonkar.
