New Marathi film ‘Dharma-The AI Story’ is based on Artificial Intelligence
Our Marathi films are known for ‘out of the box’’ subjects. The forthcoming Marathi film ‘Dharma -The AI Story’, as the name suggests, is based on Artificial Intelligence. Pushkar Jog who is known for offering such different subjects, will be directing this film. This film stars Pushkar Jog, Deepti Lele and Smita Gondkar in lead roles.

After having experienced the Artificial Intelligence technology on social media, now this technology will be presented by Pushkar through this film. Speaking about this film, Pushkar said, “This is a new subject and being tried in Marathi cinema for the first time.” The shooting of this film is in progress and it will be released during the month of September 2024.
‘Jhilmil’ song unveils the theme of ‘Musafiraa’
Known for its dramatic landscape comprising of freshwater lakes surrounded by mountains. This picturesque location is captured by forthcoming Marathi film ‘Musafiraa’. After releasing two songs from this film, now the third song titled ‘Jhilmil…’ has been released by the makers of this film, which presents the lead artistes Pushkar Jog, Pooja Sawant, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Smruti Sinha and Disha Pardeshi together displaying their wonderful boding of friendship, while exploring the natural beauty of this wonderful place.
Speaking about this song actor- director Pushkar Jog says, “This is a pleasing song which is pictured at the picturesque Scottish Highlands. Anybody can fall in love with this beautiful location.While watching the song video you imagine yourself at that place. This journey was a memorable journey for all of us. This song is rendered by Salim Merchant on the lyrics of Aditi Dravid with music provided by Sai-Piyush. This film is now due for release on 8th march 2024.
Pushkar Jog’s new film ‘Baap Manus’ to release on 25th August
As a film maker Pushkar Jog has produced many Marathi films under his banner of Goosebumps entertainment. His new Marathi film ‘Baap Manus’ is now all set for release in theatres all over Maharashtra on 25th August 2023. ‘Baap Manus’ presents a beautiful emotion filled relationship between a father and his daughter. According to Pushkar who has described his film on social media, “This film is for every father in the world.. to glorify a fathers sacrifice for their children.”

Grand Music launch of the film ‘Tamasha Live’
Few days ago the first song of the film ‘Tamasha Live’ was released, which received overwhelming response from music lovers. Now, the makers of ‘Tamasha Live’ have released the entire music of this film in a grand way, in presence of all the artistes of this film and invitees. Special dance performances by Sonalee Kulkarni, Sachit Patil and Siddharth Jadhav entertained the invitees on this occasion.
Now, the music album comprising of songs like ‘Baatmichi Vaari’, ‘Fad Lagalay’,’Wagh Aala’,’Lath Ghalnaar’,’ Rang Lagala’,’ Kadaklaxmi’,’ Garama Garam Ghya’,’ Zunj Lagali’,’ Vasudev’,’ Jau Kashi Maghari’,’ Zakham Gahari’, Gammat Gadya’ are offered to music lovers. ‘Tamasha Live’ team salutes Film industry with a song
Some days ago poster of Marathi film ‘Tamasha Live (तमाशा लाइव्ह )’ was unveiled. On this poster Sonalee Kulkarni‘s different look had invited the attention of film lovers and have also raised their expectations from this film.
Now, a song ‘Chitrapatachi Nandi’ from this film has been released on the occasion of birth anniversary of legend of Film industry Dadasaheb Phalke at N.D. Studios, Karjat. The song was presented on a specially erected 100 feet long dais, after saluting statue of Lord Nataraj. Present on this occasion were entire team of the film along with Sanjay Jadhav, Sonalee Kulkarni,Siddharth Jadhav, Sachit Patil, Hemangi Kavi, Nagesh Bhosale, Mrunal Deshpande, Aayushi Bhave, Manmeet Pem, Amitraj, Pankaj Padghan and Kshitij Patwardhan.
This song has been composed by music director Pankaj Padghan and highlight of this song is that renowned classical singers like Shaunak Abhisheki, Anand Bhate, Rahul Deshpande and Anuradha Kuber have rendered their voices and this will be a big treat for music lovers. ‘Tamasha Live’ which has been presented by Planet Marathi and Mauli Productions is produced by Akshay bardapurkar and directed by Sanjay Jadhav. The film will be released all over Maharashtra on 24th June 2022.
‘Tamasha Live’ muhurat with the blessings of Lord Ganesha
Muhurat clap of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Tamasha Live’ took place recently followed by shooting with the blessings of Lord Ganesha. Perhaps director Sanjay Jadhav thought that it was the right time, as the Ganapati festival was going on and slowly things are returning to normal in Maharashtra. Through this film actor Sachit Patil has turned producer, besides playing lead role opposite Sonalee Kulkarni in this film. He is producing this film along with Akshay Bardapurkar, Abhayanand Singh, Piyush Singh and Nitin Prakash Vaidya.
‘Tamasha Live’ will be a musical film with 30 songs and will be released next year during Diwali. Music of this film is composed by Amitraj and Pankaj Padghan while lyrics are penned by Kshitij Patwardhan.Speaking about this film, director Sanjay jadhav said, “Sonalee being a good friend, working with her is a big advantage. Actually she is a talented actress and therefore there is no need to talk about her acting. Sachit Patil’s acting is also appreciated by all and this time he is also in the role of a producer. Produced by Anand Pandit, Pushkar Jog and Mohaan Nadar and directed by Priyanka Tanwar, the latest Marathi film ‘Well Done Baby’ has been released on Amazon Prime last Friday. The film presents the story of a young Indian couple based in London. Both, Aditya (Pushkar Jog) a Counsellor & Meera (Amrta Khanvilkar)who is doing her PhD in Chemistry are in search of a purpose in their relationship. Things worsen and they are almost on the verge of divorce, after arrival of Meera’s mother (Vandana Gupte) in their life. . However, the news about Meera becoming pregnant holds Aditya and Meera together, despite few differences. How they deal with this issue, during this crucial period, is what ‘Well Done Baby’ is all about.
Written by Marmabandha Gavhane this film is very well presented by director Priyanka Tanwar who has made her debut as a director in Marathi. Shot in U.K. the film has captured interesting happenings in the life of this couple while interacting with Meera’s mother, the Marriage Counsellor ( Sanjay Jadhav) ,Fitness trainer, Parenting workshop Organiser ,Gynaecologist and few others. The scenes with Marriage counsellors and at the Indian style parenting workshop in London are well presented. The film focuses more on generating humour out of every important scene, no matter how serious the situation and therefore the would be working parents may connect well with these scenes in this 99 minute long screenplay. Music by Rohan Rohan adds some support at required places.
What holds you with this film are the superb performances by Pushkar, Amruta and Vandana Gupte, which are very natural. They have received good support from other character artistes. Cinematographers Satonio Terzio and Mohsion Khan Pathan have done a good job capturing the emotions of these artistes very well in close up scenes , besides capturing the beauty of London during some outdoor shoots. Salil Amrute’s sound design is good and costume design by Sunetra Mane needs a special mention. Certainly a timely released neat and clean film for Marathi film lovers on OTT platform, instead of watching those rough language web series .
