‘Jhilmil’ song unveils the theme of ‘Musafiraa’
Known for its dramatic landscape comprising of freshwater lakes surrounded by mountains. This picturesque location is captured by forthcoming Marathi film ‘Musafiraa’. After releasing two songs from this film, now the third song titled ‘Jhilmil…’ has been released by the makers of this film, which presents the lead artistes Pushkar Jog, Pooja Sawant, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Smruti Sinha and Disha Pardeshi together displaying their wonderful boding of friendship, while exploring the natural beauty of this wonderful place.
Speaking about this song actor- director Pushkar Jog says, “This is a pleasing song which is pictured at the picturesque Scottish Highlands. Anybody can fall in love with this beautiful location.While watching the song video you imagine yourself at that place. This journey was a memorable journey for all of us. I am sure, while watching this song, each one of you will recall your happy friendship days.”
This song is rendered by Salim Merchant on the lyrics of Aditi Dravid with music provided by Sai-Piyush. This film is now due for release on 8th march 2024.
‘Kirkol Navare’ all set to entertain Marathi Drama lovers
Popular Marathi artistes Anita Date, Sagar Deshmukh and Pushkaraj Chirputkar are all set to entertain the Marathi drama lovers through their new Marathi play ‘Kirkol Navare’ from 11th August 2023. This play produced by Anamika and Yuvanjani Natak Mandali and presented by Saisakshi is written and directed by Sagar Deshmukh.
With its tagline to offer non stop entertainment this play is expected to make the audience laugh and at the same time enlighten them through entertainment. All the three lead artistes are confident that the audience would enjoy watching this play. Music by Saurabh Bhalerao, lyrics by Jitendra Joshi, lighting by Vikrant Thakar and costumes up by Sonal Kharade are the other credits.
The inaugural shows will be staged at Gadkari Rangayatan Thane on 11th August @ 4.15 pm and at Savitribai Phule hall , Dombivali on 12th August @ 4.30 pm.

Directed by Pushkar Jog, this film stars Pushkar Jog along with Pooja Sawant,Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Bhojpuri star Smruti Sinha and Disha Pardeshi in lead roles. According to the makers of this film, this film is based on the subject of friendship and is presented in a different way and will be a heart touching family film. Chikatgunde season 2′ to be released on OTT platform
Bharatiya Digital Party ( BhaDiPa’) which presented a web series ‘Chikatgunde ‘ on the backdrop of lockdown, became very popular during that period. Looking at the response received from the viewers, the makers of ‘Chikatgunde’ are now ready with ‘Chikatgunde 2′ showing the reaction of people during post Covid period, especially after lifting the restrictions.

Shooting of Marathi film ‘Medium Spicy’ concludes
Shooting of much talked about multi starrer Marathi film ‘Medium Spicy’ concluded recently. There has already been a lot of curiosity about the title of this film, since the film was launched. Now, producer Vidhi Kasliwal has confirmed that the shooting of her film is over. Speaking about her film she said, “The production process of this film was equally fun loving like its title. The experience of working with well known technicians and renowned director like Mohit Takalkar was also memorable. Now, we are working on post production work, to make this film more presentable.”
Mohit Takalkar who also reacted on completion of film’s shooting said, “For me, past few months were full of unforgettable experience. The process of watching your dream come true, itself is remarkable. I am grateful to all my artistes, who supported me to fulfil my dream. We have shot this film in Mumbai and Pune. But, you will not see the same Mumbai you have seen in films so far. This film will show a part of Mumbai which will be new to you. And this is the speciality of this dream city. While shooting in Pune, I fall in love with this historic city.”
Presented by Landmark Films, ‘Medium Spicy’ will throw light on City life connected with love, relationship and marriage. The film stars Sai Tamhankar, Parna Pethe, Lalit Prabhakar, Neha Joshi, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Sagar Deshmukh, Ipshita , Neena Kulkarni & Ravindra Mankani. This film will be released next year.

Having established himself as a popular television actor through serial ‘Dil Dosti Duniyadari‘. Pushkraj Chirputkar made his presence felt through his debut Marathi film ‘Baapjanma‘.
He did engineering from Pune’s Pimpri Chinchwad Engineering College and like a typical Puneite was totally focused on my studies, during the first two years. In the third year, he joined a theatre group and that’s how he got associated with acting. Though his interest in acting grew further, He decided to complete his graduation and in the final year, passed by Engineering Degree with good marks. It was only then, He became serious about acting and decided to pursue as a career. With his frenzied hair and spectacles looks, Pushkaraj Chirputkar can be mistaken for a musician. But those who are familiar with Marathi Television know that he is an exceptional actor who brings lots of depths in his characters. This Pune born 30 year old young man played the role of Aashu in the youngsters comedy show ‘Dil Dosti Duniyadaari‘.
