Felicitating people who have contributed in the field of social, agriculture, medicine, art, education and others with awards has been the practice by many institutions every year. Anshuman Vichare’s Acting Academy is also among them. Through his acting academy Anshuman Vichare will be felicitating five uncommon people from Maharashtra and Goa for the AKS award which salutes their voluntary contribution.

The five personalities selected for these awards are, Dr. Anjali Keval( Ahmednagar), Ashok Deshmane ( Pune), Dr. Shirish Borkar (Goa), Varsha Parchure( Thane), & Smita Nimkar (Thane). Prominent guests like Mahesh Kothare, Usha Nadkarni, Vijay Gokhale, Arun Nalawade from Marathi film industry and Sudhakarbhai Chavan, Gurunath Mithbavkar, Nitin Lad from the social field will be present for the ceremony to be held in the Mini theatre of Kashinath Ghanekar auditorium, Thane on 14^th March 2019 at 4.00 pm. There will be entertainment programmes to be presented by well known artists like Vishakha Subhedar, Sameer Chougule, Prasad Khandekar and Pandharinath Kamble.
