Marathi film ‘Ghat’ is about the friendship of Manya & Papya
Every 14th November, people should seriously think whether the proper upbringing of every child is ensured? Today, we find that due to circumstances, many children are deprived of their childhood freedom and are required to do something to earn for their family. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Ghat‘ presents the story of two such children Manya & Pappya, who are close friends. Directed by Raj Gorde, this film is set to release on 15th December 2017.
Yash Kulkarni, who appeared in popular films like ‘Avtarachi Goshta‘ and ‘Ranjan‘ will be playing the character of Manya, while the role of his close friend Pappya is played by Dattatray Dharme. The other important artistes of ‘Ghat‘ film are, Mitali Jagtap, Umesh Jagtap & Riya Gavli. The film’s music has been composed by Rohit Nagbhide, while the cinematography is by Amol Gole. National award winner Mahavir Sabannavar has done the sound designing of this film and editing is by Sagar Vanjari.
Sona Mohapatra records Dnyanoba Mauli song for the Marathi film ‘Ghat’
Known for her Jingles in ad films and songs in Bollywood films, Sona Mohapatra has now given her voice for song in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Ghat‘, which is produced by Sachin Jare and directed by Raj Gorde. Sona recently recorded a devotional song on Dnyanoba Mauli , with the wordings ‘Ghumla Gajar Aabhali, Dnyanaraj Majhi Mauli..‘ . Lyrics of this song are penned by Vaibhav Deshmukh with the music provided by Rohit Nagbhide.
Reacting on this occasion, Sona Mohapatra said that she really enjoyed singing this devotional song. She expressed confidence that the wordings of this song will surely touch the hearts of Marathi audience. The film presents the theme how differently one should look at difficulties and challenges in life. The film’s story, screenplay and dialogues are written by director Raj Gorde himself. Cinematography by Amol Gole and editing by Sagar Vanjhari are the other credits.
