Rajmata Jijabai alias Jijamata , the brave mother of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj has played an important role while grooming her beloved son in the right direction to make him understand the importance of Swarajya and accordingly raised him to be a great warrior. And therefore, a TV serial ‘Swarajya Janani Jijamata’ based on her life has gained a lot of popularity. This serial which is telecast on Sony Marathi is the first choice of every Maharashtrian family.

Produced by Jagadamb Creations, this serial recently won five awards at the prestigious Ma. Ta. Sanmaan 2021. Besides winning the Best Marathi TV Serial award, the four other awards won by this serial are bagged by Hemant Deodhar for best direction, Amruta Pawar who bagged two awards for best actress and Fresh Face of the year and Pradeep Kothmire, who bagged the best supporting actor award. The makers of this serial have thanked the organisers of Ma.Ta. Sanmaan for showering on them these five awards. “This is the best motivation we have received during this hard time of corona pandemic.” they said. This serial is telecast from Monday to Saturday at 8.30 pm on Sony Marathi.

12 जानेवारी राष्ट्रमाता जिजाऊ माँ साहेबांची जयंती. त्या निमित्ताने स्वराज्यजननी जिजामाता मालिकेच्या सेटवर वृक्षारोपण करण्यात आले. स्वराज्यजननी जिजामाता मालिकेच्या टीमने 150 रोपटी लावली. या कार्यक्रमाला डॉ. अमोल कोल्हे, नीना कुळकर्णी आणि सयाजी शिंदे हे उपस्थित होते.

शिवजयंती निमित्ताने शिरूर येथे बायोडायव्हर्सिटी प्लांटची उभारणी करणार असल्याचे डॉ. कोल्हेनी या वेळी सांगितलं. शिवभक्तांबरोबर या वृक्षारोपणाची हिरवी मशाल, या वृक्षारोपणाचा विचार घेऊन या वेळी शिवनेरीवर देखील जाऊ असंही ते म्हणाले.जिजाऊ माँ साहेबांच्या जयंती निमित्त मी सगळ्यांना हे आव्हान करतो की झाडांना पण एखाद्या सेलिब्रिटीप्रमाणे मान द्या तरच लोक त्यांना जपतील.

Now, this serial is all set to take a new turn, while showing the skills of Rajmata Jijau while handling the most crucial decisions as an administrator while in Pune. Now, through the forthcoming Marathi TV serial ‘Swarajya Janani Jijamata’  the home viewers will get to see the strengths of this brave mother of Shivaji Maharaj . The serial is all set to be aired on Sony Marathi channel from 19th August from Monday to Saturday at 8.30 pm.

In a press conference held recently Sony Marathi Business head Mr. Ajay Bhalwankar unveiled the title song of this serial, which briefs important moments in the life of Rajmata Jijabai. On this occasion the entire team of lyricist , music director and singers were present along with director Vivek Deshpande, writers Vivek Apte & Prasad Thosar. This is the second production from Dr. Amol Kolhe, who is the producer of this serial along with Vilas Sawant and Ghanashyam Rao. Nishtha Vaidya and Amruta Pawar will be playing the younger and elder title roles of Jijaoo in this serial.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Amol Kolhe said that he very much wanted to show the new generation the importance of a brave mother and her timely decisions . “This serial will be a biggest tribute to Jijamata.”
