‘Readymix’ and ‘Jai Swachhamev Jayate’ to release on Ultra Jhakaas
Two popular Marathi films ‘Readymix’ and ‘Jai Satyamev Jayate’ are returning for release, this time Marathi on OTT platform Ultra Jhakaas, from 18th March 2024. While ‘Readymix’ deals with a plan by Nupur to to bring out his elder sister from the despair of her break up in love; while ‘Jai Swachhamev Jayate’ shows how Makarand Anaspure plans make his village Gogalgaon clean and beautiful.

‘Readymix’ film offers Vaibhav Tatwavadi , Prarthana Behere and Neha Joshi in the lead roles, while Makarand Anaspure will shoulder the responsibility with his comedy along with other artistes in ‘Jai Swachhamev Jayate’. Every artiste leaves behind something, when he says ‘goodbye’ to this world. Tributes are paid to such artiste on social media for next one or two days. Actually, the contribution of this artiste is to be remembered forever. Writer- lyricist and screenplay writer Ashish Ningurkar has written a book titled ‘Chitrakarmi‘ which covers such artistes and their contribution.
Recently, this book was released by renowned actress Sonali Kulkarni, who was all praise for this book. “This book is an inspiring precious treasure,” she said . Trailer of Bhushan Pradhan and Prarthana Behere starrer film ‘Ajinkya’ has been released on social media, which has received very good response. Written and directed by debutant A. Kadir, this film is all set for release in theatres in Maharashtra on 19th November 2021. The film speaks about the economic crisis noticed in rural and urban areas. In this film, Bhushan who is seen in a corporate look has plenty of scope while portraying this character. Prarthana is also having an equally important lead role in this film, as noticed in the trailer.
The film also stars other important artistes in prominent roles. Bhushan – Prarthana starrer ‘Ajinkya’ to be released on 19th November
There are many Marathi films, which were supposed to be released last year. However, due to Corona pandemic, they could not be released. One of them is Bhushan Pradhan and Prarthana Behere starrer film ‘Ajinkya’ (अजिंक्य ). Now, with announcement of reopening of theatres, Film ‘Ajinkya’ is all set for release on 19th November 2021. The film is directed by A. Kadir, who has also written the script of this film. This is his debut film as a director and for the first time the lead pair of Bhushan and Prarthana are working together in this film.
This film is produced by a big team producers comprising of Arunkant Shukla, Neeraj Anand, Raghvendra K Bajpayee, Babalal Shaikh, Rahul Londhe and Ved P Sharma while Umesh Narvekar is executive producer. Presented by Luminary Cine World and Exotic Media Pvt. Ltd. AjinkyaTheMovie Twitter Handle receives good response
We are all aware of the problems faced by farmers and steps taken by the Government in their interest. At the same time we are finding protests by farmers from some regions on their issues. Last year a Marathi film titled ‘Ajinkya’ a story of one young farmer was to be released. But, due to lockdown the release of this film was postponed. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s decisions taken in the interest of the farmers has also received overwhelming response.
According to Producer Neeraj Anand the title role of Ajinkya played by Bhushan Pradhan in this film is just not a character but a protagonist who will inspire and connect with the audience. And this will also help the farmers. He feels that this character of Ajinkya relates to the decisions taken by the prime Minister to benefit the farmers. And therefore, with the kind of response received by his twitter handle, he is confident that the timely release of this film in cinema halls will receive good response .
New poster of ‘Ajinkya’ unveiled
After generating curiosity with its teaser on social media , now the official new poster of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Ajinkya’ has been unveiled clearly indicating that it will be an emotion filled film with good artistes and also declaring its release date as 20th March 2020. Starring Bhushan Pradhan and Prathana Behere in the lead roles, the film also has a team talented artistes like Uday Tikekar, Arun Nalawade, Aniket kelkar , Pallavi Patil , Prasad Javade, Ganesh Yadav and Triyug Mantri in important roles.
Writer – director has used ideal locations in Jat in Sangli district along with Kolhapur and Mumbai suited to the film’s requirement. According to him the hero of this film is one amongst us and therefore while watching this film those who believe in chasing their dreams with cyclonic speed will connect with his character. Now, it remains to be seen how the chemistry between Bhushan and Prarthana works in this film.
‘Ajinkya’ songs have become more popular than first look and trailer

‘Ti and Ti’ takes you on the tour of England

Bollywood film maker Yash Chopra always believed in shooting his romantic love triangle stories in Europe. Then we saw Karan Johar following his path. And now, the latest released Marathi film ‘Ti and Ti’ has also followed their path. Shot at some of the picturesque locations of London and its suburbs, the film presents the story of a newly married couple from Pune Anay Pandit ( Pushkar Jog) and Sai (Prarthana Behere Jawkar). It’s an arranged marriage for Anay, whose close friends Sudhan & Kavya register his name with a dot com marriage bureau. And they find a suitable match in Sai with 96% compatibility.
Soon thereafter, the couple is on their honeymoon to London. But, on landing in London, Anay meets his classmate Priyanka (Sonalee Kulkarni) on whom he had a crush during his schooldays. Having found his real love, Anay pretends that he is a bachelor and starts flirting with her. Having been left alone, Sai also finds a helpful friend in Shekhar (Siddharth Chandekar) a divorcee of Indian origin, who helps her to visit the places of her interest. The time comes, when both feel the guilt and they decide to live happily. But, as we have been watching in our films over the years, it is the man who always commits a mistake and the woman is made to suffer. No wonder, the film has been released on international women’s day. So, there is more drama to witness till the climax, which concludes with a happy end.
Though the story idea of the film has been influenced by the present lifestyle of the youngsters, it does have the touch of Bollywood, when it comes to repeated mocking and dialogues of Shahrukh Khan from lead character Anay. Though the screenplay in the first part has been presented well, it lacks the required momentum in the second half. Editing is not so impressive and so are the dialogues which also fail to make an impression. However it is the wonderful work by DOP Harshavardhan Patil which makes the film presentable. Watching this film, is almost like getting an experience of a package tour of London with the team ‘Ti and Ti‘. Music is just fine to suit the theme of the film. Costume designing is also good, if you observe the technical sides of the film.
As a director, Mrinal Kulkarni has tried her best to extract the best out of the four main characters and therefore full marks go to Pushkar Jog, Prarthana Behere & Siddharth Chandekar for giving their best. But, it is Sonalee Kulkarni, who grabs all the attention with her superb performance. All in all, this so-called RomCom follows the path of those Bollywood films and takes you on the tour of England
