New live- in relationship between one woman and two men on Marathi screen
Polyamory is the practice of intimate relationships with more than one partner, with the informed consent of all partners involved. This concept is practiced in western countries. So, why not show it in our Marathi cinema, seems to be the stand of makers of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Soppa Nasta Kahi’. They are also inspired by Draupadi in Mahabharat who had five husbands. So, their modern day Draupadi who is the leading lady of this film, lives with two men. Mrunmayee Deshpande plays the modern day Draupadi in this film, with Shashank Ketkar and Abhijeet Khandkekar playing the two men in her life. The film is directed by Mayuresh Joshi.
Recently, the trailer of this film was released on social media. And we find two men in the life of actress Mrunmayee Deshpande whom we find living with these two men. It is for the first time such a concept is being introduced in a Marathi film and therefore it remains to be seen how the Marathi film lovers would respond to this subject on OTT platform. The film will be released on Planet Marathi OTT platform on 31st August 2021. Viewers can watch this film on this OTT platform against nominal payment.
Shashank Ketkar finds important role in ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’
Popular Marathi television actor Shashank Ketkar who has also appeared in some of the films, will now be seen in an important role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’ , which is produced by Akshay Bardapurkar and written and directed by Shantanu Rode. The film already stars Suvrat Joshi and Sayali Sanjeev.
This role came as a big surprise for Shashank. It so happened that Shashank had visited the office of Akshay Bardapurkar for some other work. During this meeting, he was asked to go through a script and offered a part for reading. This turned out to be an offer for an important role in his film ‘Goshta Eka Paithanichi’.
Speaking about this offer, Shashank admits that it all happened all of a sudden and after reading the story and his role, he liked the concept and agreed to perform in this film.

कलर्स मराठीवरील ‘सुखाच्या सरींनी हे मन बावरे‘ मालिकेला वेगळेच वळण मिळाले आहे. अनुची चिंता दूर झाली आहे कारण तिला आता जॉब लागला आहे. प्रणयला याबाबत कुठलीही कल्पना नाही. अनुच्या वाईटावर असलेला प्रणय अनुला दुर्गच्या मनातून उतरवण्यासाठी आणि दुर्गाच्या मनात अनु विषयी गैरसमज निर्माण करण्यासाठी थेट दुर्गाच्या ऑफिस मध्ये जाऊन पोहचतो. दुर्गाला तो अनुविषयी बऱ्याच वाईट गोष्टी सांगतो. सिद्धार्थने अनुपासून त्याची ओळख लपवली असून तो हरी बनूनच अनुला मदत करण्याचा प्रयत्न करत आहे. हे सत्य दुर्गासमोर आल्यावर तिचा विश्वास बसत नाही. सिध्दार्थ आणि अनुमधले नातं तोडण्यासाठी दुर्गा एक कट रचते.
दुर्गाला अनु अजिबात आवडत नसल्याने आणि अनुबद्दल दुर्गाच्या मनामध्ये पहिल्यापासून असलेले गैरसमज या सगळ्यामुळे त्या दोघांमध्ये असलेले मैत्रीचे नाते दुर्गाला खटकत आहे. ‘सुखाच्या सरींनी हे मन बावरे‘ या मालिकेत पुढील भागांमध्ये प्रेक्षकांना बऱ्याच रंजक घटना बघायला मिळणार आहेत. दुर्गाला हे माहिती आहे कि, जर तिने सिध्दार्थला अनु पासून तोडण्याचा प्रयत्न केला तर सिध्दार्थ तिच्या विरोधात जाऊ शकतो. आणि म्हणूनच दुर्गा अनुला सिध्दार्थचे सत्य लवकरच सांगणार आहे कि, तो हरी नसून सिद्धार्थ म्हणजेच तिचा मुलगा आहे.

Music of ’31 Divas’ launched
The title of the film ’31 Divas’ has already raised a lot of curiosity among Marathi film lovers. And now, with launch of this film’s music of this film composed by Chinar Mahesh has also confirmed that it will be musical film. The makers of this film B.S. Babu and director Ashsih Bhelkar decided to release only three out of four songs from this film, as according to them the fourth song is at a turning point of the film’s story and hence they want the audience to watch it only while watching this film. This is also one way to keep the audience guessing about the theme of this film.
Though 31 Divas is the debut of director Ashish Bhelkar, he has had the experience of working as assistant director to reputed film makers like Madhur Bhandarkar, Prabhudeva & Remo D’souza. And therefore, there are big expectations from him. ’31 Divas’ stars popular TV stars Shashank ketkar and Mayuri Deshmukh together for the first time along with Reena Agarwal, Vivek Lagu, Suhita Thatte, Asha Shelar, Arun Bhadsavle & Nitin Jadhav. The film will be released all over Maharashtra on 20th July 2018.
