Anand and Vaibhav all set to entertain from 27th Feb.
Known for their perfect timing of comedy, both Anand Ingale and Vaibhav Mangle have entertained the Marathi audience not only on stage and television; but have also invited attention from Marathi film lovers. Both of them are now coming together in a forthcoming comedy serial ‘Shejari Shejari Pakke Shejari’ which will begin its telecast on Zee Marathi from 27th February 2013, at 9.30 pm prime time.
Meeting both of them together during press meet of this serial in Pune, was a pleasure. Both of them interacted freely with media representatives, narrating about their respective roles. Vaibhav plays a migrant Brij lal Pathak from North India, who is an old newspaper vendor, while Anand Ingale who plays Ballal Lambodar Pathak is a literary person. Both of them stake their claim on the house of Bapu Damle, as the rightful owners.
It so happens that in the process of claim, the property is divided into two parts in such a way that even the dining table is shared in two parts and the air circulated by one fan is shared by both of them, after partition. “Having worked together in ‘Ghadlay Bighadlay’ and ‘Fu Bai Fu’ in the past, we are enjoying each other’s company once again,” admitted both of them. About his north Indian accent, Vaibhav said that he practiced the same while conversing with the workers on the sets.
Watching these two comedians together, reminds us of some of the previous humor filled subjects like ‘Tom and Jerry’ and ‘Wagle Ki Duniya’. Produced by Shrirang Godbole’s Indian Magic Eye, the serial will be directed by Vinod Lavekar and Mangesh Kanthale. Instead of presenting this serial from Monday to Saturday for half an hour, the makers have decided to have one hour episode from Wednesday to Friday at prime time on Zee Marathi. This clearly indicates that ‘Khupte Tithe Gupte’ will be either coming to an end or will be shifted to other slot.
