‘Bandookya’ getting ready for release by unveiling two songs
Makers of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Bandookya‘ after bagging 6 Nominations and winning 4 State Awards during the 54th Maharashtra State Film Awards event, recently released the songs of their film at an event held in Mumbai. The unique Poster of the film has already gone viral with maximum posts on social networking sites, generating more curiosity about this film.
The film is all set to release all over Maharashtra on the 1st September 2017. The songs ‘Mazha Eer‘ and ‘Ata Sosana‘ and the trailer of the film were screened during the event. Produced by Rajendra Borse and Pratibha Borse under their banner Varsha Cinevision, the film has been directed by Rahul Manohar Chaudhary. The language of ‘Bandookya‘ film which is from Junnar area and well known as Junnari Jhatka, has been used through this film for the first time. Popular singers Adarsh Shinde, Javed Ali and Mahalaxmi Iyer have rendered their voices for the songs in this film on the music of Parikshit Bhatkhande.
Actress Atisha Naik, Actor Shashank Shende, Namdeo Murkute, Nilesh Borse, Amol Bagul, Tanmayi Chavanke, Unnati Shikhare and others have performed in this film. Nilesh Borse makes his debut as an actor through this film. The story of ‘Bandookya‘ is based on an evil tradition that is existing in a typical community for generations together .
