I would like to reach out to the masses – Kanchan Adhikari
Whether it is playing a host for a television programme or making a film as a director, Kanchan Adhikari has always kept one thing in mind and that is create awareness among people about any given social issue. Through her very first film ‘Manini’, as a director she went on to show how strong a woman was while overcoming her own problems. Later she shifted to comedy films. Her next two films ‘Doghaat Tisra Aata Sagla Visara’ and ‘Baap Re Baap Dokyala Taap’ with Makarand Anaspure in the lead, she tried to deliver a relevant message in the climax of the film. One may call it an entertainment taking the form of a sugar coated capsule containing a medicine for cure. This time she comes with another comedy film ‘Tukya Tukavila Nagya Nachvila’( T2 N2) making almost a hat-trick with Makarand Anaspure, who plays the lead role of a corrupt Police Hawaldar from a village.

We all read in the newspapers stories about the maximum corruption taking place in the Police department and in the Municipalities and its impact on the society. I thought of sending across the message in my own way through a comedy,” she said.
The rushes of the film along with two songs were shown to the Press, making it very clear that T2N2 was a total entertainment package.
