‘Kanika’ presents horror film on the backdrop of female feticide
Female feticide is a social problem. In spite of stringent laws and implementation of social awareness programmes, we still find some cases on this issue coming to light in our country. Now, Marathi film ‘Kanika’ will present a horror film on the backdrop of this timely and sensitive subject. According to Pushkar Manohar, director of this film, the story of this film is a horror revenge drama with a different touch, presented for the first time in Marathi films.
Produced by Sandeep Manohar, this cinemascope film with dolby sound effect has good technical support. The film stars Sharad Ponkshe, Smita Shewale, Chaitrali Gupte, Kamlakar Satpute, Ananda Karekar and Falguni Rajani. Editing by Kuldip
