‘Narbachi Wadi’ promises humour filled story

There is a lot of resemblance in Marathi and Bengali culture. No wonder, Manoj Mitra’s popular Bengali novel ‘Sajjano Bagan’s is being adapted into cinematic format to present a Marathi film ‘Narbachi Wadi’ by director Aditya Sarpotdar. Produced by TV serial producers Kalyan and Rupali Guha, the film is set on the backdrop of picturesque village in konkan and promises humour filled story of an old farmer and his adamant landlord.

Versatile actor Dilip Prabhavalkar is playing the lead role in this film, in the company of talented artistes like Manoj Joshi, Nikhil Ratnaparakhi, Atul Parchure, Kishori Shahane, Vikas Kadam, Jyoti Malde, Bhau kadam and Kamlakar Satpute. With cinematography by Rahul Jadhav and Music by Mangesh Dhakde , the film will be released on 20th September 2013 in Maharashtra.
