Priyanka Chopra’s Marathi film ‘Ventilator’ all set to release on 4th November
Priyanka Chopra’s debut Marathi production ‘Ventilator‘ may be called a debut Marathi film for director Rajesh Mapuskar and is also a comeback Marathi film for Ashutosh Gowarikar after almost 18 long years. The film also stars another Bollywood personality Boman Irani, who is making his debut in Marathi, through this film, with a small role. The official trailer of this film was released recently at a function in Mumbai.
The film’s story revolves around Kamerkar Family, which unites in their ancestral village to celebrate the festival of Ganpati. This time, with three days to go for the festival, a doyen of the family, and most loved Gaju kaka, goes into a coma. He is put on life support with the ventilator and the confusion follows.
Speaking about her association with this film, producer Priyanka Chopra said, “From the minute I heard the script, I knew I wanted to make this film. It’s one single moment that defines the rest of the film. It is funny, ironical and a deeply moving tale that will leave you laughing and crying. I am very lucky to have such a talented collection of actors coming together for my debut Marathi production“.
