Getting an invitation for this party is considered as a status symbol, as only selected celebrities are invited for this big event. This year, two popular Marathi actresses Sai Tamhankar & Amruta Khanvilkar had received invitation for this event and both of them did oblige with their physical presence.

According to the Bollywood sources, till now no Marathi actress had attended this event and therefore both Sai and Amruta stand tall with this invite. Moreover, their presence on the red carpet also clearly indicated how popular they are in Bollywood too.
