Shakti Kapoor makes his debut in Marathi film
Popular bollywood villain & comedian Shakti Kapoor is all set to make his Marathi debut through a Marathi film ‘Bayko Jhali Gayab’, playing a pivotal role of a terrorist .
Shakti plays a dreaded terrorist Masood Khan who wants to destroy Mumbai in a 26/11 like situation . Popular theatre and TV actor Vijay Patwardhan also makes his debut in a leading role opposite veteran star Varsha Usgaonkar in the main role. Shakti Kapoor confesses that he is a true ‘Mumbaikar’ as he is the son-in-law of reputed Kolhapure family and thanks Mumbai for giving him name and fame.
Shakti has admitted that he can’t speak fluently in Marathi but his children speak only in Marathi. Shakti has spoken a few Marathi dialogues in the film but in the film he has most of his dialogues in Hindi.
The film is produced by veteran producer Vijay L Shinde under the banner Om Chintamani Films and promises a good action packed comedy thriller. The film is directed by duo Gyan Narsinghani and Kisan Bengale.
The music of this film is by Ashok Waingankar and lyrics by Dr. Srikant Narule. The supporting cast comprises of Vijay Chavan, Kishori Ambiye, Chetan Dalvi, with stars Bharat Jadhav and Surekha Kudchi in a guest appearance.
