The 10th season of IDEA Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, a biggest platform for musical talent in Marathi industry, has started with a new look. With the beginning of this programme, we find the new logo of Zee. But, what is more surprising is to find popular music duo- Ajay-Atul playing the role of judges for this reality show. Another surprise comes in the form of young, talented and charming actress Priya Bapat, who will host this show.

A press conference was called by Zee Marathi at The Grand Central, Mumbai on 20th evening to introduce the 24 selected singers, who will compete in this reality show. Ajay-Atul, who were present on the occasion, were welcomed by Executive Vice President of Zee TV Ms. Sharda Sunder. Speaking on the occasion, both Ajay and Atul praised the 24

participants for possessing an extra ordinary talent . “They are the real diamonds chosen by us and we are sure, you all will appreciate their performance. No matter, who wins, but according to us, all of them are the best. We have treated them well and we also saw to it that they were at ease during rehearsals. Small mistakes are bound to happen and therefore we offered them a chance to be more perfect, for the kind of talent they possessed”. “A singer is not a machine,” they added.

According to Nikhil Sane, Business Head, Zee Marathi, who was also present at the function said, “Since its inception from 2000, SaReGaMaPa is the unique reality show defining new standards of entertainment with its every new season. The show has given multiple talented singers in different age groups like Abhijit Kosambi, Dnyaneshwar Meshram, Vaishali Made, Urmila Dhangar along with the little champs like Kartiki Gaikwad, Prathamesh Laghate, Mugdha Vaishampayan and Shubham Khandalkar. IDEA SaReGaMaPa has not just created the talent but it has changed the lives of these singers forever. It is also responsible for making Marathi music popular around the world. With its 10th Season, we are promising to raise the bar further”.

Priya Bapat, who will be anchoring this show also addressed this press conference with the same enthusiasm, as if it was a live telecast. Some of the singers also gave a live performance presenting their favourite songs and it indicated that their selection was apt. This show which is for 15-30 yrs age group, is presented on Zee Marathi
every Monday and Tuesday @ 9.30 pm
