Sri Sri Ravi Shankar watches Marathi film ‘Mantra’ and appreciates it
Renowned spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is an authority , when someone talks today about spirituality. Recently, makers of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Mantra‘ showed their film to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar arranging a special show for him and his disciples in Bangalore. And the spiritual Guru saw this film from start to finish, which itself was a big compliment for the makers of this film, as never before the Guru had watched a film in one sitting. In the past he found time to see few Hindi films in parts. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar not only praised the film but also applauded the music director Vishwajeet Joshi for his music in this film.
The show was a sort of ‘Customer Acceptance Testing’, the practice adopted in IT sector. Since the makers of this film belong to IT industry, they thought of using this method. ‘Mantra‘ was also shown in Goa Film Bazar and Pune Film festival, where it received appreciation from the audience. The film has also been shown to Madhur Bhandarkar, Sharman Joshi and Rajdutt. Now, ready for release on 13th April 2018, this film stars Manoj Joshi, Deepti Devi, Pushkaraj Chirputkar, Siddheshwar Zadbuke, Sunil Abhyankar, Dhiresh Joshi, Rajesh Katkar, Saurabh Gogate, Shubhankar Ekbote, Sujay Jadhav, Vrushali Katkar & Anuradha Marathe in lead roles.
