‘Takatak’ crosses Rs. 3 Cr. collections in 3 days
Now days, Marathi films are known for setting new trends . Till now, we had seen films with pure comedy, biopics & true stories receiving good response from the audience. As per the source, writer- director Milind Zumbar Kavde‘s latest film ‘Takatak’ also setting a new record by crossing Rs. 3 Crore collection in first three days . The so called first ever sex comedy in Marathi seems to have received a good response in Maharashtra from the audience including youngsters.
According to the makers, the highlight of this film is its content which has a lot of mischief and fun, well suited to the youth. Also the chemistry between the lead pair of Prathamesh Parab and Ritika Shrotri has been liked by the audience.The new pair of Abhijeet Aamkar and Pranali Bhalerao has also impressed the with their performances. Supporting actors like Bharat Ganeshpure, Pradeep Patwardhan and Ananda Karekar have also rendered good performances in the film which has helped this film to attain new heights.
Sameer Dixit and Hrishikesh Bhirangi of Pickle Entertainment and Purple Bull Entertainment who handled the task of distribution of the film, successfully managed to get over 450 screens with over 6000 shows. Distributor Sameer Dixit says, “Like in Hindi Cinema where different territories are sold, for the first time in Marathi Cinema, the territory of Nizam (Marathawada) has been sold for ‘Takatak’ even before the release of the film.”
