New Film ‘V Shantaram’ poster released
Shantaram Rajaram Vanakudre, popularly known as V Shantaram was the first Game changer of Indian Film Industry. His life was full of struggle and at the same time full of creativity, to change this world through number of films he made to offer a social message to the society. Now, a biopic on his life is being made titled ‘V. Shantaram’ , which is expected to be visually grand, emotionally powerful and cinematically iconic.
Recently, poster of this film was released on social media; which has raised a lot of curiosity among his admirers and film lovers. In this film Siddhant Chaturvedi is playing the title role. Abhijit Shirish Deshpande (‘Aani Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’ fame) will be directing this film. This film is produced by Rahul Kiran Shantaram along with Subhash Kale and Sarita Ashwin Varde. This film will be released during the new year 2026.
Subodh Bhave to play Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj
Zee Studios have announced their new Marathi film ‘Har Har Mahadev’ in a grand way. In this film, Subodh Bhave will play the lead character of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Recently, the digital poster of this film was launched, with Subodh Bhave appearing as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Since Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj was not only popular in Maharashtra but all over India, Zee Studios have decided to make this film in other languages like Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Kannada besides Marathi. So, this film will be released in 5 languages during coming Diwali 2022.
Besides Subodh Bhave this film will present many renowned actors. Directed by Abhijit Shirish Deshpande this film will be a grand film with 400 VFX technicians with Hollywood experience are working day and night on this project. So, there is no doubt that this will be technically a grand film.
‘Ani…Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’ – Gudi Padwa gift from Shemaroo
At the most crucial time, when the people from Maharashtra are facing the crisis due to spread of Corona Virus and required to stay at home, the chances of their celebrating Gudi Padwa in a traditional manner are very less. It will be a home affair within the four walls. But, the new channel ‘Shemaroo Marathibana’ have come to their help in the form of home entertainment on this auspicious day. The channel will be premiering the hit Marathi film ‘Aani… Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar’ on this day i.e. Wednesday 25th March 2020, offering two shows at 12 noon and 7 pm respectively.
It may be recalled that ‘Aani .. Dr.Kashinath Ghanekar’ did a very good business at theatre windows, when it was released in November 2018. With good direction from Abhijit Deshpande and fine performance by Subodh Bhave in title role, the film had received appreciation from Marathi film lovers. But, for those who missed the film and for others the Premiere of this film on this channel will be a good festival gift.
