‘Adam Tadam’ wins ‘E Natyashodh’ one act play competition

First Prize Winner – ‘Adam Tadam’

The second ‘E – Natyashodh Multilingual One Act Play competition‘ was dominated by Marathi plays. The first prize was won by ‘Adam Tadam‘ presented by Dombivali’s Swami Natyagan and written- directed by Rajesh Shinde, while the second prize was won by ‘Anaesthesia‘ written by Dr. Chandrashekhar and directed by Srinivas Narvekar. The special Jury award went to Bangalore’s Hindi play ‘Panchi‘, while the Critics award went to Marathi one act play ‘Dehasakta‘ directed by Nashik’s Poonam Patil.

The competition was held in four languages, Marathi, English, Hindi and Gujarathi and 24 entries were technically eligible out of which 9 one act plays were shortlisted for the final round. According to Ravi Mishra , head of Astitva, the intention of this competition is to preserve the one act plays and to enlighten the new generation with the technical aspects.
