‘Sundari – The history of Lavani’ to be staged in USA in July 2025

Known as ‘Lavani King’, Maharashtra’s popular Lavani choreographer Ashish Patil has given a new form to ‘Lavani’ with his show ‘Sundari The History of Lavani’. Besides preserving the originality of this art . Ashish has popularized this show successfully.
Now, he is taking this show to USA in the month of July 2025 so as to enable the art lovers of this form to watch it live. The critics and admirers of this art have already praised this presentation stating that this show captures the attention of all such art lovers. So, The combination of Amruta Khanvilkar and Ashish Patil are now getting ready to capture the American audience.
‘World of Stree’ will be next attraction from Amruta Khanvilkar
Known for her all round performances in Marathi entertainment industry for the past 20 years, versatile dance actress Amruta Khanvilkar is ready with her new offering ‘World of Stree’ a dance presentation, which is being recognised by an NGO – ‘Earth’ recognised by United Nations Organisation. This dance form presents the Woman Power, which has the mixture of Elegance, devotion and strength.
Highlight of the dance presentation is is that the viewers will see an unusual combo of classical, semi classical music with dance forms. This 90 minute programme will also present choreographer and renowned dancer Ashish patil along with Amruta Khanvilakr. The first show of this presentation will be on 24th August 2024 at Tata Theatre, NCPA, Mumbai.
Speaking about this presentation, Amruta says, ”Dance art is very close to me. In ‘World of Stree’ I got an opportunity to present dance, music and drama all together on the same platform. It was always my wish to present something to create awareness in the society and I will be fulfilling it through this presentation.”
