Teaser of film on Lalita Babar released by Maharashtra CM
We are already aware that Amruta Khanvilkar is playing the role of Ace Maharashtra Athelete Lalita Shivaji Babar in her biopic to be made in Marathi. Lalita who has earned her name at the national and international level, is known to all . Therefore, people are eager to see this film. Recently, in a grand ceremony, the teaser of this film was released at the hands of Maharashtra Chief Minister Mr. Eknath Shinde.
Lalita Babar herself was present on this occasion and turned emotional while talking about her struggle before she earned name and fame. She thanked Amruta Khanvilkar who was playing her role in this film. Speaking about her role, Amruta said, ‘For the past 18 months I have been preparing for this role and have met Lalita several times, to understand this great sportsperson. My journey has just begun and have to run miles, before completing this film.” Presented by Akshay Bardapurkar, Planet Marathi and Endemol Shine India, this film will be released on 26th January next year.

Popular Marathi actress Amruta Khanvilkar will be playing the role of renowned international level athlete Lalita Shivaji Babar in her biopic to be presented by Akshay Bardapurkar, Planet Marathi and Endemol Shine India. This film will be produced by Akshay Vilas Bardapurkar, Rishi Negi, Gaurav Gokhaleand Ronit Mitra. Announcement of this Marathi film was made on the occasion of Republic day with the release of poster of this film, carrying the photo of lead actress Amruta Khanvilkar.

According to the makers of this film, this film will be released on next republic day, i.e. on 26th January 2024. Speaking about her role in this film, Amruta Khanvilkar says, “I am glad that I got an opportunity to play the role of world renowned athlete like Lalit Babar who has many achievements on record. For the past one year I have been in touch with her and studying her behaviour and body language , so that I could give full justice to this character.”
Mr. Akshay Bardapurkar feels that a biopic on the life of a girl coming from a from farmer’s family in small village from Satara, would certainly inspire one and all. Gaurav Gokhale from Endemol Shine India says that after making National level and regional films, with this film they have entered the Marathi film industry in association with Planet Marathi He is confident that a talented actress like Amruta will give justice to her character in this film.
