सन मराठी सादर करीत आहे नवी मालिका ‘माझी माणसं’
अल्पावधीतच आपल्या उत्तम मालिकांच्या द्वारे मराठी प्रेक्षकांचे मन जिंकून लोकप्रियता मिळत असलेल्या सन मराठी ही मराठी वाहिनी प्रेक्षकांसाठी अजुन एक नवी मलिका घेऊन आलिये.
आजपासून (३० मे) ‘माझी माणसं’ (Maajhi Maanasa) ही स्वकर्तृत्वावर घर सांभाळणाऱ्या गिरीजाची गोष्ट आपल्याला सन मराठीवर दिसणार आहे. आपल्या वडिलांच्या पश्चात आपल्या संपूर्ण कुटुंबाची जबाबदारी सांभाळणाऱ्या ‘गिरीजा’ची ही गोष्ट असून एका हॉस्पिटलमध्ये हेड नर्स असलेली गिरिजा तिच्या ८ जणांच्या कुटुंबातील एकमेव कमवणारी व्यक्ती आहे.
घरातील सर्वांची काळजी घेत असताना, स्वतःकडे; स्वतःच्या सुखाकडे मात्र ती नेहमीच दुर्लक्ष करते. कुटुंबाचा एकटाच कमवता आधार असल्यामुळे आपल्या भावंडांच्या शिक्षणापासून ते घरखर्च भागवण्याची जबाबदारी सर्वस्वी गिरीजाच पार पाडते. अर्थात या सगळ्या प्रवासात अनेक अडथळे येतात. त्यातून मार्ग काढताना ज्या आपल्या माणसांचा तिला आधार वाटतो, अशी तिला आपली वाटणारी माणसं खरंच तिची आपली आहेत का? ह्या प्रश्नाभोवती मालिका गुंफलेली आहे.
र्तव्यदक्ष आणि जबाबदार गिरीजाची भूमिका या मालिकेत जानकी पाठक (Janaki Pathak) साकारत आहे. झोंबिवली या चित्रपटातून पदार्पण करणाऱ्या जानकीची ही पहिलीच मालिका आहे. स्मिता सरवदे या मालिकेत गिरीजाच्या आईची भूमिका साकारत असून, दिगंबर नाईक मालिकेत गिरीजाचे काका ही नकारात्मक भूमिका साकारत आहेत. याशिवाय साईंकित कामत, आरती मोरे, भूमिजा पाटील, विजय पाटील, साक्षी महाजन, रोहन पेडणेकर, सोनम म्हसवेकर हे कलाकार सुद्धा या मालिकेत ठळक भूमिकेत दिसणार आहेत. कोठारे व्हिजन यांची निर्मिती असलेली ही मालिका सन मराठीवर ३० तारखेपासून सोमवार ते शनिवार रोज रात्री ८ वाजता महाराष्ट्राच्या प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीस येणार आहे.
सन मराठी ही फ्री वाहिनी सर्व प्रमुख डिटीएच प्लॅटफॉर्म्स आणि केबल नेटवर्क्सवर मोफत उपलब्ध आहे. तसेच ही वाहिनी डीडी फ्री डिश वर देखील चॅनेल नंबर ६ वर उपलब्ध आहे.

Marathi film ‘Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate’ written and directed by Girish Vishwanath which was released in November 2018 received a very good response from critics. However, many Marathi film lovers could not watch this film. For them, this is the best opportunity to watch this film on OTT platform, instead of watching some crime filled films. This is the kind of film which you can watch with your family and especially children.
Set on the backdrop of Matheran the nearest hill station to Mumbai, the film revolves around a 10th standard local school girl Tejashree and a stray female dog, whom she names Vanilla. Vanilla lives in Tejashree’s school compound and therefore both of them develop a strong bonding for each other. Writer- Director Girish Vishwanath has captured the emotion filled scenes very well in the screenplay, generating interest among the audience.
Debutant Janaki Pathak has portrayed the lead role of teenager Tejashree with total commitment. No wonder, she will now be seen in a lead role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Zombivali’ made by Aditya Sarpotdar. There are versatile artistes like Ravi Kale, Rajashree Nikam and Radhika Deshpande as her family members, who have offered very good support. Certainly, a worth watch film with the entire family.

No days we find unusual English titles for Marathi film. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Vanilla, Strawberry & Chocolate’ is also one of them. Shot entirely on the backdrop of picturesque Hill station Matheran, this film presents the story of a small family of Babu Pawar which takes care of tourists by taking them for horse ride. One day a new member in the form of a pet Vanilla arrives in their family and film goes on to show the strong emotion filled relationship between babu’s daughter Teju and Vanilla.
Janaki Pathak who is playing the role of Teju is making her debut through this film. Besides the Pet dong Vanilla the film also stars Ravi Kale, Rajashree Nikam, Radhika Deshpande, Kshitij Deshpande & Vinod Jadhav. Presented by Dr. Sunil Nichlani, the film is scripted and directed by Girish Vishwanath. Girish has also penned the lyrics of this film, while music and background music is by Shantanu Nandan Herlekar According to the makers ‘Vanilla Strawberry & Chocolate’ is the first film which has been entirely shot at Matheran.
