Poster of new film ‘Preetam’ unveiled
The month of February is known for celebration of Valentines Day and therefore has special significance for young lovers. To celebrate the occasion this year, new Marathi film ‘Preetam’ is all set to release on 19th February 2021.
Recently, the poster of this film was unveiled by Wizard Productions. The film is directed by Ad film maker Sijo Rocky. As suggested through the title this film is about the journey of love. It also offers a message ‘Love is not to be revealed, it is to be in built.’
Set on the backdrop of picturesque Konkan, this love story stars fresh pair of Pranav Raorane and Nakshatra Medhekar along with Upendra Limaye, Ajit Deole, Vishwajeet Palav, Sameer Khandekar, Abha Velankar, Shivraj Walvekar, Asmita Khatkhate, Nayan jadhav and Ananda karekar. Highlight of this film is a love song rendered by Shankar Mahadevan which will be released on the auspicious day of Makar Sankranti, i.e. Thursday 14th February 2021. Music by Vishwajeet CT and cinematography by Om Narayan are the other credits.
Artistes of ‘Fatteshikast’ build replicas of Fort
The festival of Diwali is known for celebrating happiness . But, there are also some rituals connected with this festival over the years. During this festival, there has been an old tradition of building replicas of famous forts, in which people of all age groups take part with a lot of enthusiasm .
Keeping this tradition alive, artistes of the forthcoming Marathi film ‘Fatteshikast’ also got together into this traditional practice. Director Digpal Lanjekar along with artistes Astad kale, Ajay Purkar, harish Dudhade, Vikram Gaikwad, Prasad Limaye, Akshay Waghmare, Mrunmayee Deshpande, Trupti Toradmal, Ruchi Savarna and Nakshatra Medhekar took part in this collective mission of building the replica of a fort . And this goes very well with the theme of this film.
Through this mission their only aim was to keep the old tradition alive. Presented by Almonds Creation with the support of A.A. Films, ‘Fatehshikast’ will be released all over Maharashtra on 15th November 2019.
