Parth Bhalerao stands tall with a lead role
Two years ago, with his debut in Bollywood film ‘Bhoothnath Returns‘ child star Parth Bhalerao came into limelight. He even bagged a special mention at the 62nd National Awards for his portrayal of a smart kid in this film. Later, we also saw his superb performance in the film ‘Killa‘, which was screened at Cannes Film festival. Recently, we even sawhis notable performance in the film ‘Lalbaugchi Rani‘. But now, Parth Bhalerao is playing the lead title role in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Disco Sannya‘. And, that really makes him stand tall, as the film is all set to release on 17th June 2016.
Produced by Sachin Purohit and Abhijit Kawathalkar, Niyaz Mujawar directed Marathi film is a so called thrilling drama spiced with comedy, which revolves around an orphaned street-kid, essayed by Parth Bhalerao, and his unusual relationship and tryst with a rich businessman Shreyas Kale, essayed by Sanjay Khapre, who in the film is an egoist, self-obsessed, self-made man.
This Film’s story is written by Sachin Purohit, Niyaz Mujawar and Abhijit Kawathalkar, with the music by Sachin Purohit and Abhijit Kawathalkar. Singers Avdhoot Gupte, Reeshabh Purohit, Nandesh Umap, Adarsh Shinde and Shabaab Shabri have rendered their voices for the songs in this film.

‘Disco Sannya’ getting ready to release in June 2016
A forthcoming Marathi film titled ‘Disco Sannya’ from Vakav Films, is now ready for screening. According to the sources, the film is set to release during June 2016.
‘Disco Sanya’ is the first production by Vakav Films. The title of this film has already raised curiosity among Marathi film lovers, as the promotional song of the film has been rendered by eminent singer Avadhoot Gupte. Mr. Sachin Purohit and Mr. Abhijeet Kawthalkar have produced the film with Niyaj Mujawar as Director of the film. The lyrics by Niyaz Mujawar have been set to lilting tunes by Abhijit Kawthalkar and Sachin Purohit. Eminent singers Adarsh Shinde, Nandesh Umap, Rishabh Purohit and Shabab Sabari have rendered these songs.
The Story and Screenplay have been penned by Niyaz Mujawar, Sachin Purohit and Abhijit Kawthalkar with dialogues by Niyaz Mujawar. Sandeep Patil is DOP, Bhowmik Shah has choreographed the film and Siddhartha Tatuskar is the Art Director. Costumes have been designed by Ms. Purti Kulkarni and Make up by Mr. Santosh Gilbile.
A total secrecy has been maintained by the filmmakers, about the story as well as the cast of the film, for the time being. However, one thing is sure that there has been a huge curiosity in the minds of the viewers about what is ‘Disco Sannya’ in reality?

Parth Bhalerao celebrates ‘Bhaubeej’ in a unique way
National award winning child artiste Parth Bhalerao celebrated his ‘Bhaubeej’ during Diwali, in a unique way. Having attained popularity through films like ‘Bhootnath returns (Hindi)’ and ‘Killa (Marathi)’, Parth visited HIV affected children, with the help of Mamata Foundation, where the girls from this foundation performed the Bhaubeej ceremony, treating Parth as their brother.
The office bearers of Mamata Foundation and producers of Wakau Films were present on the occasion. Incidentally, Parth is playing lead role in Wakau Productions new Marathi film ‘Disco Sanya’, which is also based on a social subject. After the ceremony, Parth interacted with the children and also narrated his experience of working with superstar Amitabh Bachchan.

Synopsis
‘Killa’ : Recent death of his father takes Chinu, a 11 year old boy and his mother to the sleepy town of Konkan. The shift to a small town away from the established surroundings, friends, school, and social life doesn’t go down very well with Chinu who builds impenetrable walls around him. Killa therefore is a coming off age story of Chinu’s journey, both extrinsic and intrinsic, the story of his relationship with the new place and its people in which each seeker becomes the other’s guide which helps him discover the inner reality of Self and transform and prepare to face what we all call Life.
