In the recent past, Marathi film industry has offered many new talented artistes . Some of them had some background of their parents, who were part of this industry, but many others have made their entry simply on their own merit. One such new face with the name of Omkar Dixit will be seen in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Perfume‘ which is produced by Dr. Hemant Dixit, presented by Laxman Kagne, Amol Kagne and directed by Karan Tandale. In this film Omkar’s lead actress will be Monalisa Bagal. There are many other versatile artistes in this film along with this lead pair.

Speaking about his role, Omkar Dixit says, “My journey into this film industry began in 2016, when I was offered this role. It was a big achievement for me, as I have no contacts in this film industry. At that time, I was underweight. And therefore had to increase my weight with proper food and doing all the exercises in Gym, besides learning swimming and cycling. In the film I am playing a young protagonist from a poor family, who faces a lot of struggle. His life changes, when a girl comes in his life. This film will always remain in my memory, as working in this film itself was something very special,” Omkar is eagerly waiting for the release of this film, which is all set for release on 1^st March 2019.
