‘Aga Aga Sunbai Kay Mhantay Sasubai’ title song released
The title song of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Aga Aga Sunbai! Kay Mhantay Sasubai’ was released recently. This song covers all the humour filled interactions between Sasubai and Sunbai played by Nirmiti Sawant and Prarthana Behere. This song is penned by Valay Mulgund and music provided by Kunal- Karan.
Singers Vaishali Samant and Priyanka Barve have rendered this song in their voices. According to Kedar Shinde, the director of this film, is confident that the audience would appreciate this film and this song will become popular during the traditional rituals like ‘Mangalagaur’.
Produced by Zee Studios and Sunflower Studios, the story and dialogues are written by Vaishali Naik and Omkar Mangesh Dutt, while screenplay is written by Vaishali Naik. Cinematography and editing is by Mayur Hardas, this film will be released on 16th January 2026.
Subodh, Prarthana & Rinku together in ‘Better Half chi Love Story’
The so called unusual love story ‘Better Half chi Love Story’ presented by Sushilkumar Agrawal & Ultra is all set for release on 22nd August 2025. Bhushan Pradhan scores boundary on Ultra Jhakaas OTT
Known for his fitness smart looks and solid performance in Marathi film industry, Bhushan Pradhan has scored a boundary of films on Ultra Jhakaas Marathi OTT platform. Till recently, Ultra Jhakaas have released Bhushan’s films like ‘Unn Savali’, ‘Fake Marriage’ and ‘Lagnakallol’. And now, on 17th May 2024 his latest film ‘Rangeet’ has been released with World Digital premiere on this platform.
It may be recalled that Bhushan’s characters like Pranay in ‘Unn Savali’, Mihir in ‘Fake Marriage’ and Atharva in ‘Lagnakallol‘ had impressed the OTT audience. Kadir, this film is all set for release in theatres in Maharashtra on 19th November 2021. The film speaks about the economic crisis noticed in rural and urban areas. There are many Marathi films, which were supposed to be released last year. However, due to Corona pandemic, they could not be released. One of them is Bhushan Pradhan and Prarthana Behere starrer film ‘Ajinkya’ (अजिंक्य ). Now, with announcement of reopening of theatres, Film ‘Ajinkya’ is all set for release on 19th November 2021. The film is directed by A. Kadir, who has also written the script of this film. This is his debut film as a director and for the first time the lead pair of Bhushan and Prarthana are working together in this film.

We are all aware of the problems faced by farmers and steps taken by the Government in their interest. At the same time we are finding protests by farmers from some regions on their issues. Last year a Marathi film titled ‘Ajinkya’ a story of one young farmer was to be released. But, due to lockdown the release of this film was postponed.
