Pratik Deshmukh reduces his weight for the role in ‘Judgement’
Having made his debut through ‘Shubh Lagna Savdhan‘ playing the role of NRI Rohan, Pratik Deshmukh will now be seen in the role of a frustrated youth Yadunath Satam in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Judgement’. Actually, Pratik had received the offer for this role, while doing the film ‘Shubh Lagna Savadhan‘. And the only similarity between these two roles is that both these characters are US returned having completed their education over there.
Speaking about this role, Pratik says that his character in ‘Judgement‘ is different from his previous character played in ‘Shubh Lagna Savdhan‘. “ In ‘Judgement’, I play a character which is different from that of my previous film’s character. Though my previous film’s character was that of a ‘happy go lucky’ energetic youth, the latest film’s character is an introvert and unhappy. Therefore, to prepare for this role, I had to cut my hair and also reduce my weight to match with this character,” says Pratik.
