Renowned film maker and actor Mahesh Manjrekar and versatile actor Bharat Jadhav will be seen together for the first time in new Marathi play ‘Shankar Jaykishan'(शंकर जयकिशन )  Written by Virajas Kulkarni and directed by Suraj Parasnis, this play also presents Shivani Rangole in lead role along with Mahesh Manjrekar and Bharat Jadhav.

The story of this play revolves around the complex relationship between father and his daughter and unexpected arrival of a stranger generating suspense. Mahesh Manjrekar is making his comeback as an actor on Marathi stage after a long gap of 29 years and therefore for his admirers it will be a big treat. According to the director Suraj Parasnis, this play is not just entertaining, but will also present a different definition of a father and a friend . The inaugural show of this play will be held on 19^th December 2025 at Dinanath Mangeshkar Natyagruh, Vile Parle.
