Swapnil & Mukta getting ready to return with ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai-3′
Swapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve are two big names in Marathi film industry. Their chemistry has always worked very well together on small as well as big screen. Their film ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai‘, which was released five years ago, was a super-duper hit on national as well as international level. The success was repeated when its sequel ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai -2‘ was released two years ago.
Now, the history is all set to be repeated as producer Sanjay Chhabria and Associate-producer Amit Bhanushali with director Satish Rajwade are getting ready to release the third part of ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai‘ on 7th December this year. Recently, the super hit pair of Swapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve joined director Satish Rajwade to announce this release date of their film.
Speaking on this occasion, Director Satish Rajwade said, “We did not expect Mumbai Pune Mumbai (MPM) to be successful to such an extent. Mumbai Pune Mumbai (MPM) as now has become became a cult, setting a trend of ‘one of its kind love story’. MPM has now become a habit with the audience. People are now more curious about the lives of Gautam and Gauri and are relating themselves with the happenings in the lives of this couple.” The makers are confident that ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai-3‘ will be equally supported by the audience.
‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai’ will be the first ever Marathi film to release its 3rd part
Eight years ago the Marathi film lovers received a gift of entertainment in the form of ‘Mumbai Pune Mumba 1’ , which was a super-duper hit not only in Maharashtra but also at the international level. The success was repeated when its sequel ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai -2’ was released only two years ago. And now, the history is all set to be repeated as producer Sanjay Chhabria and Associate-producer Amit Bhanushali (of 52 Friday Cinemas) and director Satish Rajwade made an announcement of the third part of Mumbai Pune Mumbai’. In Hindi this has become a trend, but in Marathi this will be the first ever Marathi film to release its 3rd part.
The popular hit pair of Swapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve also joined in for announcing the 3rd Part of the film and now this film will hit the screens across Maharashtra on September 28, 2018 The sequel ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai-2’ was released two years ago during Diwali , not only in Maharashtra, but also in other states like Goa, Gujarat, Karnataka and also at the international level at places like US, UK, Australia and other countries, where it received overwhelming response. Pallavi Rajwade has penned the story of ‘Mumbai Pune Mumbai -3 and Screenplay and Dialogues are written by Ashwini Shende and Pallavi Rajwade.

Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati 3 to offer chat lifeline to contestants
Every reality show has its uniqueness. ‘Kon Hoeel Marathi Crorepati’ ( KHMC3) which is all set to air on Colors Marathi from 3rd October 2016 also has its own distinctiveness. For the first time, this show will introduce chat lifeline ‘Hou De Charcha‘ , which will enable the contestants to have their preference for a lifeline during the game show. With this new addition, KHMC3 will be providing a platform to all our Marathi viewers to embrace this new identity.
Siddharth Basu of Big Synergy, the hosts of this show, has said that this year they are offering a youthful new host in the form of Swapnil Joshi, who is already a popular star of Marathi television and films. Showering all praise on Swapnil, he has described him as witty, spontaneous and charming, who is able to build an electric connect with contestants and viewers. The show has offered an enhanced jackpot of Rs. 3 Crore. With another game show ‘Vikta Ka Uttar‘ also to be aired next week on Star Pravah Channel , it remains to be seen, which show will attain big success.
‘Laal Ishq’ is also banking on its music
Music plays a very important role in Marathi films, besides its content. Most of the hit Marathi films had good music. Keeping this in mind, Film maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has also paid attention on this aspect, in his debut Marathi film ‘Laal Ishq Gupit Aahe Saakshila‘. Few days ago, this film’s first song ‘Chand Matala…‘ on the music of Amitraj was released , along with the first look of the film. And now, the second song ‘Chimni Chimni…‘ of this film in the voice of Adarsh Shinde has also been released. This song also contains the voice of Swapnil Joshi and other artistes in the film Piyush Ranade, Sneha Chavan, Jaywant Wadkar, Aarti Kelkar, Kasturi Wavare and Amitraj.
According to the director of this film Swapna Waghmare Joshi , this 2nd song was picturised in one take, as all the artistes, on whom this song was picturised , had rehearsed very hard with the choreographer, before picturisation of this song. By the way, ‘Laal Ishq‘ is all set to release on 27th May 2016.

It had only 2 characters (unnamed in the movie) played by Mukta Barve and Swwapnil Joshi who played the roles of a girl and a boy living in the cities ‘Mumbai’ and ‘Pune’ respectively. This movie was directed by Satish Rajwade and produced by Mirah Entertainment.
The sequel of this movie is titled ‘Mumbai-Pune-Mumbai 2′ and it is scheduled to release this year.”
