Savaniee Ravindrra ‘Vande Ganapatim’ song receives overwhelming response
Popular Marathi singer Savaniee Ravindrra who has rendered songs in other six languages besides Marathi, recently presented her ‘Vande Ganapatim’ song in Sanskrit, has received overwhelming response from music lovers. Savanee who has graduated with Sanskrit specialisation, was already looking for an opportunity to sing in Sanskrit language and her wish has been fulfilled through this song.
According to Savanee, this bandish which has Hindustani classical music touch was originally rendered by my mother’s Guru Veena Sahasrabudhe. “Since my childhood days, I have been attracted towards this composition of Pt. Kashinath Bodas. Now, my friend R.Sanjay has given this bandish a touch of Karnataki classical touch to present this lovely devotional song. I am glad that the music lovers have liked it.” says Savanee.
This song produced by Dr. Ashish Dhande and presented by Times Music Spirituals has been captured on camera by Shreyas Shinde, with Aditi Dravid adding flavour with her Bharat Natyam dance.
