Kanchan Adhikari to present Manoj and Sukanya together in ‘Janmaroon’
Renowned producer, writer & director Kanchan Adhikari is all set to offer a new Marathi film on a different but timely subject. For this film she has brought together the popular pair of equally popular Marathi serial ‘Aabhalmaya’ namely Manoj Joshi and Sukanya Kulkarni in lead roles. The story of this film is based on a real true story which happened in a family.
The film highlights the relationship between parents and their children especially when those children give more importance to the property of their parents rather than reciprocating the love and affection. ‘Janmaroon’ will make the parents aware of such dangers, before taking any important decisions in their life related to their children in the present times. The film is ready for release on 15th March 2024 all over Maharashtra.
Produced by Shree Ganesh Films, presented by Shree Adhikari Brothers,this film is written and directed by Ms. Kanchan Adhikari. ‘Janmaroon’ stars Manoj Joshi, Sukanya Kulkarni Mone, Sushant Shelar, Dhananjay mandrekar, Tushar R.K, Anagha Atul and in a special guest appearance popular Hindi actor Mahesh Thakur. Suresh Deshmane has done the cinematography of this film while music is by Vaishali Samant, who has also rendered the songs in this film along with Sudesh Bhosale.

Special show of ‘Kaljayee Savarkar’ held at Raj Bhavan
Special Preview show of Marathi short film ‘Kaljayee Savarkar,’ was held in Jalvihar Auditorium, Raj Bhavan in presence of Governor of Maharashtra Mr. Bhagat Singh Koshyari. On this occasion, President of Bharatiya Vichar Darshan Mr. Sushrut Chitale welcomed the Governor. Also present on this occasion were dignitaries like Vidhan Sabha President Mr. Rahul Narvekar, MLA’s Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Praveen Darekar, Mr. Ramesh Patange, Kiran Shelar, Deepak Karambelkar and others.
Actor Saurabh Ggokhale as Veer Savarkar
All the invitees who appreciated this film were of the view that this film not only presented the biography of Veer Savarkar but also helped reach out his thinking process to the audience. Governor Mr. Koshyari called it an inspiring film which presented the all important aspects in the life of Veer Savarkar. The invitees also complimented the lead artistes of this film Mr. Manoj Joshi, Tejas Barve and Saurabh Gokhale, who were present for the show. Saurabh Gokhale to play Swatantryaveer Savarkar
Versatile stage, television and film actor Saurabh Gokhale will play the lead role of Swatantryaveer Vinayak Damodar Savarkar in the much talked about Marathi short film ‘Kaljayee Savarkar’ which is due for release soon. Another important role of Hindustan the country and also the narrator will be portrayed by veteran actor Manoj Joshi. This film will be released in different parts of Maharashtra soon. Mukesh Rishi will be added attraction in Marathi film ‘Truckbhar Swapna’
We are all aware of the capacity of Makarand Deshpande as an actor on Hindi stage and films. We have also seen his best performances in Marathi films like ‘Rita‘,’Samantar‘,’Ajintha‘, ‘Panhala‘ and ‘Dagadi Chawl‘. Now, Makarand is all set to display his talent in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Truckbhar Swapna‘, which is directed by Pramod Pawar. But, along with him there is another versatile Bollywood actor, who is making his debut in Marathi and he is Mukesh Rishi.
We have seen Mukesh Rishi giving his best through strong character roles since 1990 and has always been the favourite of many big film makers from Hindi and telugu Cinema. Rishi has performed prominent roles in about 70+ Hindi films, 50+ South films besides few Punjabi films, which is a big achievement. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar watches Marathi film ‘Mantra’ and appreciates it
Renowned spiritual leader and founder of the Art of Living Foundation Sri Sri Ravi Shankar is an authority , when someone talks today about spirituality. Recently, makers of forthcoming Marathi film ‘Mantra‘ showed their film to Sri Sri Ravi Shankar arranging a special show for him and his disciples in Bangalore. And the spiritual Guru saw this film from start to finish, which itself was a big compliment for the makers of this film, as never before the Guru had watched a film in one sitting. In the past he found time to see few Hindi films in parts. Sri Sri Ravi Shankar not only praised the film but also applauded the music director Vishwajeet Joshi for his music in this film.
The show was a sort of ‘Customer Acceptance Testing’, the practice adopted in IT sector. Since the makers of this film belong to IT industry, they thought of using this method. ‘Mantra‘ was also shown in Goa Film Bazar and Pune Film festival, where it received appreciation from the audience. The film has also been shown to Madhur Bhandarkar, Sharman Joshi and Rajdutt.
