The teaser of ‘Bewaras – Satya Eka Valanavarach’, the final film of legendary Marathi theatre and film actor late Vikram Gokhale, has been officially released. On the occasion , the new poster of ‘Sur Lagu De’ was unveiled by actor-director Mahesh Manjrekar and actor Manoj Joshi in the presence of Vikram Gokhale’s wife Vrushali Vikram Gokhale at MIG Club in Bandra. The event was attended by Anil Kalelkar, Manoj Pakhade, film producers, directors, actors and dignitaries from the film industry.
Dedicated to Vikram Gokhale, this film has been written by Ashish Dev and music composed by music composer Pankaj Padghan. Along with the series, there is a surprise package featuring Reena Madhukar and Meghna Naidu . They are joined by Ashish Newalkar, Jayraj Nair, Sunil Godbole, Siddheshwar Zadbukke, Nitin Jadhav, Asha Nyate, Meru Vernekar, Anuradha More, Shekhar Shukla, Sandeep Gaikwad, Hitendra Upasani, Pradeep Patwardhan, Aslam Wadkar, Somnath Talwalkar, Sunil Jadhav, Deepika Golipkar, Alka Parab, Atul Ganorkar, Dilip Karade, Sandeep Jayagade, Amogh Chavan and Audumbar Babar. Neha Pendse to dedicate her new film to Late Vikram Gokhale
Recently, On her birthday popular actress Neha Pendse was to surprise her fans with the announcement of her new Marathi film with the release of its poster. However, due to sad demise of renowned actor Vikram Gokhale the announcement has been postponed. Incidentally, Vikram Gokhale was also part of this film and therefore Neha has decided to dedicate this film to him.
This new film is produced by Shardul Singh Bayas, Neha Pendse and Nikhil Mahajan and is directed by Rohit Mittal. Story is written by Shripad Deshpande and Rohit Mittal and very soon the name of the film will be disclosed. Speaking on the occasion of her birthday, Neha made this statement while thanking her friends and well wishers for their good wishes. She regretted her inability to make announcement of her film’s name on this day, as she felt that it was not a good time, due to sad demise of Vikram Gokhale, which was a big loss to the film industry.
Co producer Nikhil Mahajan also supported this decision and was all praise for Neha Pendse and her work, having worked with her in the film ‘June’. She is a passionate actress anda finest producer. He said that even with Vikram Sir, he worked in ‘Gadavari’ and even in this film, which was to be announced. And therefore, they were dedicating this film to him.
Veteran Actor Vikram Gokhale Passes Away at 77
The Indian film and theatre industry lost one of its finest talents as veteran actor Vikram Gokhale passed away today ( November 26, 2022) in Pune at the age of 77. He was undergoing treatment at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital and reportedly succumbed to multiple organ failure.
A respected name in Marathi theatre, Marathi cinema, and Hindi films, Vikram Gokhale was known for his powerful screen presence and versatile performances. Over a career spanning more than four decades, he delivered memorable roles in films such as Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Agneepath, Natsamrat, and Mission Mangal.
In 2013, he received the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in the Marathi film Anumati. He was also honoured with the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award for his contribution to Indian theatre.
Known for his dignified personality and exceptional acting skills, Vikram Gokhale leaves behind a rich legacy that continues to inspire generations of actors and cinema lovers. His contribution to Indian entertainment will always be remembered.
Teaser of much awaited film ‘Godavri’ released
After having won the appreciation and awards at the international and national film festivals, the makers of Marathi film ‘Godavri’ have released the first teaser of their much awaited film on the auspicious occasion of Dusehra. Jitendra Joshi wins best actor award at NYIFF, USA
Versatile Marathi actor Jitendra Joshi is in the news. He has won Best actor’s award for the film ‘Godavari (गोदावरी)’ at the New York Indian Film Festival ( NYIFF) 2022. ‘Godavari’ is Jio Studios presented Marathi film , which is produced by Blue Drop Films and Jitendra Joshi Pictures. This film has already earned a name at different national and international film festivals , wherever it was screened.
Directed by Nikhil Mahajan, this film will now be screened among the five films at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival .
