‘Rashtra’ will present Vikram Gokhale in a strong role
The presence of Vikram Gokale in a film invites the attention of film lovers, such is the popularity of this actor. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Rashtra’ presents him as a dashing politician. This film makes a strong commentary on the current political situation. It focuses on the issue of reservation. Produced by Bunty Singh under the banner Inder International, this film is written, directed and edited by Inderpal Singh.
Along with Vikram Gokhale, the film also stars versatile artistes like Mohan Joshi, Rohini Hattangadi, Milind Gunaji, Reema Lagoo, Sanjay Narvekar, Ganesh Yadav and others. Apart from this, Minister Ramdas Athawale and Swabhimani Shetkari Sangathan’s Raju Shetty, two leaders who play an important role in Maharashtra politics, will also be seen playing roles on the big screen through ‘Rashtra’. Director Inderpal Singh feels that Vikram Gokhale, who has succeeded in making his mark in Hindi as well as Marathi, played an important character in ‘Rashtra’ and has helped to raise a very important issue in the society. Composers Nikhil Kamat and Inderpal Singh have composed the music for this film.
