Lalit Prabhakar’s Chance Pe dance on the sets of ‘Smile Please’
Known for portraying variety of roles on television and films tall and dashing actor Lalit Prabhakar will now be seen in Vikram Phadnis‘ forthcoming film ‘Smile Please’. This particular character of Lalit is in contrast with the kind of role played by him in ‘Anandi Gopal’. In ‘Smile Please’ he is playing his the character which is similar to what he is in real life.

The best example of his spontaneous reaction was noticed during the song picturisation of this film, when he was asked to go and dance during a Ganapati procession . Even after the director said OK to the scene, Lalit went on to dance in that procession and even involved the crew members present on the sets. Even otherwise, on the sets of this film Lalit was always found in a jovial mood.In this film along with Lalit Prabhakar there are other lead artistes like Mukta barve, Prasad Oak and Aditi Govitrikar. The film will be released all over Maharashtra on 11th July 2019.
Mrunal Kulkarni is all praise for Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukhtankar
We are all aware of the enormous contribution made by director duo Sumitra Bhave and Sunil Sukhtankar to give a new look to Marathi films. Together they have offered sensible award winning feature films like ‘Doghi’, ‘Dahavi Fa’, ‘Nital’’ Ek Cup Chya’, ‘Samhita’, ,’Astu’ and ‘Kasav’ besides other award winning short films. For more than 30 years now, they have worked together on creative subjects. Their forthcoming film ‘Welcome Home’ is now all set for release, with Mrinal Kulkarni in the lead along with multi star cast.

When Mrunal was asked to give her reaction about her role in this film, she was all praise for the director duo and their working style. “Actually Sumitra Maushi had narrated the story of this film to me about 8-10 years ago and she wanted me to play this important role. Finally that day came when I got an opportunity to do this film. I have seen all the films of this director duo and liked the way they think about the subject and make it happen realistically on screen. There is lot to learn from them. I admire their work and salute them.” she said.
Finally, talking about the film’s subject, Mrinal says that this film is a must for all women and their husbands too.
Stand up Comedian Prithvik Pratap’s film wins State award
Popular stand up comedian Prithvik Pratap has already reached Maharashtrian households watching the comedy show ‘Maharashtrachi Hasyajatra’. Prithvik had won the 2nd chapter of this comedy show . He also performed the role of Rahul n the Marathi serial ‘Jago Mohan Pyare’. But, more than this, today he has achieved something that should make him feel more proud.

Prithvik’s short film ‘Wake up’ has bagged second prize in the Vasundhara Short film festival organized by Maharashtra Pollution Control Board. Prior to this Prithvik had worked in two short films ‘The Closet’ and ‘Dus Rupaiah’ and also in a web series ‘Backbenchers’. But, ‘Wake up’ success makes him feel special, as the film has won an award. Highlight of this film is that it is a silent film, in which more emphasis is on facial expressions which conveys the message.
Shivani Surve has experienced ‘Sunshine after tears’
Behind every successful artiste there is a struggle, if there are no godfathers around. Marathi actress Shivani Surve is one of them. Shivani narrated her ‘Sunshine after tears’ story of struggle recently in a reality show . She recalled her days of struggle while she lived in Dombivali and later shifted to Sion. “There was a time when we never had money to cook sufficient food at home. I still remember, my younger sister had to survive with one Parle G biscuit pack for the whole day. At that time, I decided to do something for the family.” said Shivani.

Her acting career at initial stage was full of struggle. When she lived at Dombivali and had to travel different places for her stage shows, once she and her grandmother had to spend night on railway platform. But, determined that she was, she worked hard , till she found a big break on television in 20111. Thereafter, she didn’t look back. Shivani Surve not only fulfilled the dream of her mother to have a house just 15 minutes away from the beach but also brought her own car.

Poster and trailer release ceremony of the Marathi film ‘Shri Ram Samarth’ conceptualized by Nashik’s famous lawyer Mrs. Vijaya Maheshwari, was recently held in Nashik, in presence of renowned artistes Alka Kubal, Shantanu Moghe, other local artists and dignitaries. This event was attended by musician Shrikrishna Chnadrate, Nagaradhakshya of Trimbak Purushottam Lohgaonkar, film producer Sudhir Kolte, Badgujar, Tushar Gupte, chairman of Vishwas Bank Vishwas Thakur, Nishiknat Pagare of Maharshi Film Organization and Prof. Somnath Muthal.

Siddharth Chandekar and Mrunmayee Deshpande together in ‘Miss U Mister’
Siddharth Chandekar and Mrunmayee Deshpande began their film career together as teenagers in ‘Hamne Jeena Seekh Liya’. Later they made progress in their career during past ten years with variety of roles in Marathi TV serials and films. Now, both of them will be seen together once again in lead roles in forthcoming Marathi film ‘Miss U Mister’, which is directed by Sameer Joshi. The film is ready for release all over Maharashtra on 28th June 2019.

Recently, the trailer and music launch of this film was held in Mumbai in presence of music director of this film Aalap Desai and others, when the song rendered by Anandi Joshi made this event more musical. Apart from the lead pair of Siddharth and Mrunmayee, the film also stars Rajan Bhise, Savita Prabhune, Avinash Narkar and Radhika Vidyasagar in prominent roles. The film is produced by Kewal handa, Manish Bhargav and Manish Bhargav and the lyrics are penned by Vaibhav Joshi. The film presents the story of a young couple played by Siddharth and Mrunmayee.
Actress Rasika Dhabadgaonkar is now a US certified Scuba Diver

Popular Marathi television and film actress Rasika Dhabadgaonkar known for her famous character of Shanaya in the serial ‘Majhya Navryachi Baiko’ is presently is US for her higher studies. But, she continues to pursue her hobbies and interests there too. Her love for adventure sport is known to her well wishers and fans. Now, the good news for her fans is that Rasika has recently been certified as an open water scuba diver. She has received the certificate and a license for the same, which she has shared with marathimovieworld.com apart from her experience in this adventure sport.

This certificate allows her to dive in any dive site in the world. Speaking about her experience, Rasika says, “I was always fond of the ocean and scuba diving was on the bucket list for a long time. This certification allowed me to get proper training. I realized during the studies that scuba diving is a very responsible sport and there is a lot of science and technique, in order to be safe. I had to master number of skill sets and some basic emergency rescue methods to qualify for this certification.”
Rasika also had to experience the water of the pacific ocean which is super cold. But, she witnessed the beauty underwater in the form the fishes, corals, huge star fishes and much more. She now plans to do speciality courses such as wreck diving and night diving soon .
Astad Kale turns emotional about his friendship with Maadhav Deochake

Both Astad Kale and Maadhav Deochake are known for their memorable roles of two brothers Raghav and kanha in the popular TV serial ‘Saraswati’. Last year Astad kale found his entry into Big Boss Marathi as one of the important contestants and this time in Big Boss-2 his small screen brother Madhav Deochake has stepped in as a contestant.

With Madhav’s entry into Big Boss 2, Astad kale has reacted with his emotion filled message for Madhav, recalling their friendship during ‘Saraswati’ serial and how their relationship as brothers turned into solid friendship. Prathamesh- Ritika song ‘Aapla Haat Jagannath’ attains popularity

The song which has been penned by Jai Atre and composed by Varun Likhate has been rendered by popular singer Anand Shinde. But, above all the chemistry of this young pair has been appreciated especially by the young generation.

Directed by Milind Kavde this film is now due for release on 28th June 2019. The trailer of ‘Takatak‘ film which was released earlier has also received a very good response on social networking sites.
