Sanskruti Balgude conferred with Digital Influencer award

Recently, Sanskruti was conferred with the ‘Youth Icon –Lokmat Digital Influencer’ award. Reacting after receiving this award, Sankruti said, “This was unexpected. But, I am glad that Lokmat Group have found me eligible for this award. Calling me a digital influencer is itself a big honour for me. I have always been very careful and responsible while posting content on social media. Now, I will have to be extra careful after winning this award. I always feel that the posts on my profile should relate to acting, dancing and art field.”
‘Kaali Maati’ bags 301 awards in 194 days
Marathi film ‘Kaali Maati’ was completed during the initial lockdown period. But, prior to its release this film has succeeded in winning several National as well as Global awards at various prestigious film festivals. Till date this film has won 301 awards in just 194 days, which is a big record. Produced and directed by Hemantkumar Mahale, ‘Kaali Maati’ has been inspired by life and times of the National award winning ideal farmer Shri Gyaneshwar Bodke and shows how strenuously with dedication and hard work, the story of farmers who have succeeded in coming up with around 400 crores rice crop has been driven home by his inspiring real life story.
Out of these 301 awards, 61 awards were bagged by director Hemantkumar Mahale for his direction. The film will now march towards various other festivals after having been showcased in India, Malaysia, France, Europe, London and USA. Producer-Director Hemantkumar Mahale says that his aim is to garner at least 351 prestigious awards in all for his ambitious thought provoking and progressive film and adds that it is by itself a world record for a film to garner so many awards. He has already briefed the Guinness Book of World Records, Limca Book of World Records, Asia Book of Records, India Book of Records etc about his achievement and they are likely to confer on him the certificates shortly.
The film stars among others Omprakash Shinde, Aetashaa Sansgiri, Diksha Bhor, Bhagwan Pachore, Poonam Patil, P.K. Waghmare in key roles. Music has been composed by the Music Director duo Avinash-Vishwajeet while Suresh Suvarna and Raja Phadtare are the Cameramen. Anil Raut and Hemantkumar Mahale have penned incisive dialogues while Mayur Aadkar has written the thought provoking screenplay.

‘Takatak 2′ shooting concludes
In spite of the ongoing situation due to partial lock down, director Milind Kavde known for completing his shooting schedule in time, managed to finish the shooting of his latest film ‘Takatak 2’ recently. Takatak 2 is a sequel of ‘Takatak’’by the same director made two years ago, which turned out to be a hit film at the box office. . Now, while shooting for ‘Takatak-2’ luck helped in a big way, as the unit was able to complete the shooting of the film amidst stringent lockdown. The entire team of ‘Takatak 2’ feel that this has been possible only with the blessings of their well wishers.
Produced by Om Prakash Bhatt and Dhananjay Singh Masoom, ‘Takatak 2’ team launched the film in Goa with a grand mahurat and even completed most of the film briskly under the banner of Purple Blue Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. Thereafter when the second wave of Corona started, it was decided to shoot their balance portions of the films at Baramati & Bhor strictly adhering to the bio-bubble protocols of the government according to director Milind Kavde.

Ashish Ningurkar as lyricist and actor in ‘Well Done Boys’
After the success of ‘Aamhi Chamakte Taare’ Sainath Chitra are all set to present their next film ‘Well Done Boys’. Shooting of this film is over and it will now be released soon on OTT platform. Enthusiastic all rounder connected with Marathi films Ashish Ningurkar who besides managing his job in Indian Postal Services, has written lyrics of this film besides performing a small role. Ashish has already performed in many films and TV serials besides writing screenplay and lyrics.
‘Well Done Boys’ is Produced, directed and edited by Prakash Aatmaram Jadhav and stars Mohan Joshi, Vijay Patkar, Shilpa Prabhulkar, Priyaranjan, Vinod Jolly and Ashish Ningurkar. The film revolves around the dedicated teachers who try to find the best out of mischievous children from their school to make them worthy in this world. Meaningful lyrics of Ashish have received music from Shrirang Aras and S.P. Sen, while singers like Pallavi Kelkar, Shyamal Savke, Geeta and J.P. Dutta have rendered their voices for the songs in this film.
Sai Tamhankar will be added attraction in ‘Samantar 2′
Only last week we had heard about the streaming of Marathi Web Series ‘Samantar’ from 1st July starring Swapnil Joshi , Veteran Nitish Bharadwaj and Tejaswini Pandit in lead roles. At the end of Season 1 we had seen this series concluding at a very interesting stage . So, there is a lot of curiosity among the viewers to know how Kumar Mahajan after acquiring the diary from Chakrapani will be facing all the challenges in his life.
Now that Sai Tamhankar making the announcement on her birthday about her entry into this series with the release of promo, there is more curiosity about her character and her links with Chakrapani as well as Kumar Mahajan. This also raises a question, whether she will be seen in double role? But for all that, you have to wait till 1st July, when this series will be aired on MX Player . Besides Marathi it will also be available in other languages like Marathi , Hindi and Tamil.
‘Bharat Majha Desh Aahe’ to be premiered on 8th July at Cannes
Happy days are here again for Marathi films. We have been receiving news on selection of Marathi films at various International film festivals in different countries. Now, the latest news is that the musch talked about Marathi film ‘Bharat Majha Desh Aahe’ directed by Pandurang Krushna Jadhav and produced by Dr. Ashish Agarwal, will be premiered at Cannes (Marche Du) Film Festival on 8th July 2021.
This heart touching film which is made on the backdrop of a village which offers Jawans for our Defence services, has strong star cast comprising of versatile artistes like Shashank Shende, Mangesh Desai, Chhaya Kadam, Hemangi Kavi, RajravisinghRaje Gaikwad Devanshi samant and Namrata Salokhe. Screenplay and dialogues by Nishant Dhapse, cinematography by Nagraj Diwakar, editing by Nilesh Gawand, art design by Gangadhar Singare, lyrics by Sameer sawant and music by Ashwing Srinivasan are the other credits. The director of this film has earlier made films like ‘Manatlya Unhaat’ and ‘Dry Day’ which also received appreciation at International film festivals.
Unique tribute by Team ‘June’ on the occasion of Father’s day
On the occasion of Father’’s day, the entire team of forthcoming Marathi film ‘June’ has paid unique tribute in the form of a song on ‘‘Father’ which is a reprise version of a song titled ‘Baba’ from this film. This song has been penned by Nikhil Mahajan on the music of Shalmalee Kholgade and rendered by Anandi Joshi. For the reprised version, this song has received support from Anandi Joshi , Neha Pendse Bias, Shalmalee, Resham Srivardhan, and group of common friends comprising of Amruta Khanvilkar, Priya Bapat, Girija Oak Godbole, Mrunmayee Godbole, Parna Pethe, Gaura Nalawade & Sanskruti Balgude .

Swwapnil Joshi and Nitish Bharadwaj to return with ‘Samantar 2′
Popular Marathi actor Swwapnil Joshi who had appeared with veteran Marathi actor Nitish Bharadwaj in the web series ‘Samantar’ released last year, is all set to reappear with him in season -2 of ‘Samantar’. Based on the book written by Suhas Shirwalkar, teaser of this series was released recently on MX Player with the news that official trailer of ‘Samantar-2’’will be released on 21st June.
It may be recalled that this series presents the story of a youngster Kumar Mahajan played by Swapnil Joshi, who comes to know that his future is what is the past life of a middle aged person Sudarshan Chakrapani played by Nitish Bharadwaj. So, after going in search of this person, Kumar finally locates him and acquires the diary from Sudarshn , to know his future. The Season 2 of this series will therefore be interesting to find how Kumar faces the different situations in his life with the help of this diary? Directed by Sameer Vidwans this series will be aired soon on MX Player .

Renowned Marathi actress Seema Deshmukh will narrate Writer Sanjay Sonawani’s famous Social novel ‘Savyasachi’ on audiobook. This audiobook has been presented on Storytel Marathi. The novel describes what our nation has experienced during the last decade of the 20th century, before moving into 21st century.
Known for describing every situation in a dramatic manner, the writer has written several books on different subject.
