Writer- actor  Ashish Ningurkar’s short film ‘Sankraman’ has been selected for forthcoming Dehradoon International film festival which is scheduled between 17^th and 19^th September 2021. From among 1167 entries received for this film festival, short film ‘Sankraman’ has received five nominations, namely ‘Best Social short film’, ‘Best Production- Kavya Dream Movies’ , ‘Best subject- Sankraman’, ‘Best Writer- Ashish Ningurkar’ & ‘Best actor- Pradeep Kadu’.

Cinematography by Siddhesh Dalvi and editing by Vijay Kamble are the other credits. The film deals with an important social message about observing social distancing to avoid spread of corona virus, especially during this coming Ganesh Festival, when people are expected to gather in large number.
