‘Chaurya’ will be India’s first film in accessible format
Marathi film makers have always been in the forefront right from the days of late Dadasaheb Phalke. In the recent past, we saw tremendous progress made by our Marathi film makers attempting something new, which were introduced for the first time in Indian cinema. Now, producers Nilesh Navalakha,Vivek Kajaria, Ashwini Patil and director Sameer Asha Patil will be offering their forthcoming Marathi film ‘Chaurya‘ in accessible format, for the first time in India. Accessible format will enable the visually and hearing impaired to enjoy the film more.
On Monday evening music of this film was released in presence of producers, director, music director Mayuresh Kelkar, lyricist Shamrao Dhamankar, Vishnu Thore, Sameer Asha Patil, artistes Milind Shinde, Ganesh Yadav, Digvijay Rohidas, newcomer Tirtha Murbadkar & Shruti Kulkarni. Lead actor Kishore Kadam could not make it for this event, as he was bust shooting for his another film. Visually impaired girls from a special school, along with their principal released the music of this film.
The film ‘Chaurya‘ which is supposed to be a suspense filled thriller is set on the backdrop of Shani Shingnapur; but has also been shot at Chambal .Posters of the film ‘Chaurya‘, with the artistes wearing masks of popular Bollywood actors like Amitabh Bachchan , Sridevi, Amrish Puri & Rajnikant were prominently displayed at the venue. When the makers were asked, about the possibility of these artistes objecting to their photos on the posters of the film, Producer Nilesh Navalakha stated that there was nothing wrong in it, as the artistes of this film are just wearing their masks. To know the reason, you will have to see this film. The film is all set to release on 5th August 2016.
