Now, a Marathi film ‘Chaurya’ on Shani Shingnapur temple controversy
At the beginning of this year, we saw the release of Marathi film ‘Lord of Shinganapur‘ which was about the faith many people have in this Lord, whose temple is based in Shinganapur. Few months back, we also noticed a controversy over women not allowed inside the inner sanctum of the Shani Shinganapur temple . Inspired by this controversy, forthcoming Marathi film ‘Chaurya‘ will present its story, to invite the attention of film lovers. The film is now all set to release on 5th August 2016.
Navlakha Arts and Holy Basil Company’s Nilesh Navlakha, Vivek Kajaria, and Cineleela Talkies’s Ashwini Patil have produced this film , while Navlakha Arts & Sadhana Cinema are presenters of this film. Directed by Sameer Asha Patil, the film stars talented artistes like Kishor Kadam, Ganesh Yadav, Milind Shinde, Pradeep Velankar along with Digvijay Rohidas, Dinesh Lata Shetty, Teertha Murbadkar, and Shruti Kulkarni .
We are all aware that Shinganapur village has a history of no robbery taking place in the village. But, surprisingly a robbery takes place in the temple itself and the villagers faith in God and the temple is hurt. And, the film has covered this issue in this suspense thriller. Highlight of ‘Chaurya‘ film is that the film has the unique accessibility format used for the first time, which will help blind and deaf people to enjoy the film as announced by the producer Nilesh Navlakha.
