Meaningful popular song ‘Devaak Kalji Re….’ from award winning Marathi film ‘Redu’ has created a new history of setting a record of 100 Million views not only among Youtube viewers in India but also all over the world. Produced by Navalkishore Sarda and directed by Sagar Vanjari ‘Redu’ was released on 18th May 2018 and since then won awards besides being released at many international film festivals. The film also attained popularity because of the hit song ‘Devaak Kalji Re….’ which invited attention of youtube viewers all over the world.

The song penne by Guru Thakur is composed by Vijay Narayan Gavande and rendered by Ajay Gogavale. Speaking about the success attained by this song, director of the film Sagar Vanjari says, “Before completion of two years, the song has been seen by 100 Million viewers, which makes all of us happy in this Marathi film industry. What is more encouraging is that many viewers have commented below the video stating that this song not only inspired them, but also prevented some of them from the bad thought of suicides. Till now, we have received 300 million views for the song with faster beats like ‘Zingaat’, but to get so many views for an emotion filled devotional song , is certainly a new record.”
