Fine gesture by Aaroh Velankar
At a time when many of our Bollywood artistes could not come together to help the flood victims of Maharashtra during the recent calamity, our Marathi artistes are doing a commendable work to raise the funds and help for these victims. Recently, Aroh Velankar, the finalist of ‘Big Boss 2 Marathi show’ also showed a fine gesture by donating Rs. 1 lakh towards flood relief fund after meeting the Chief Minister of Maharashtra Mr. Devendra Fadnavis.
Taking note of this fine gesture by this actor, the Chief Minister’s office also tweeted this news. Speaking about his help, Aroh said, “I have been helping for a social cause for a long time. But, I don’t like to make it public. This time, the Chief Minister’s office made it Public through their tweet.” He further added, “The natural calamity due to heavy rains was witnessed by me, while I was working on the Big Boss sets. And had made up my decision to offer some financial help from my side for this purpose.”
It may be recalled that Aroh is already associated with various social welfare organisations. He participates in awareness campaigns of ‘I Vote’ besides working for the welfare of handicapped people. With his active involvement in such social projects, his well wishers are all praise for him.
