Atrocities on women are on the rise in our country, who have become target of sexual abuse. Forthcoming Marathi film ‘Aakrandan‘ will not only highlight such crimes, but will also remind one and all about their social responsibility to stop such crimes. The first look of this film was unveiled recently at the hands of Mr. Ramdas Atrhavale, Minister of Social Justice, Government of India, in presence of dignitaries like Rajkumar santoshi, Al Haj Hajrat Zahid Hussain Chisti and others. The film will be released all over Maharashtra on 7^th September 2018.

Produced by Govind Aher and presented by Vivek Pandit this film is written and directed by Shashikant Deshpande , who has also written the screenplay and dialogues along with Milind Inamdar. The strong star cast of this film comprises of Upendra Limaye, Sharad Ponkshe, Milind Inamdar, Ganesh Yadav, Bal Dhuri along with Vikram Gokhale, Smita Talwalkar, Amita Khopkar, Pradeep velankar, Uday Tikekar, Bharat Ganeshpure, Tejashree Pradhan, Vilas Ujavane, Pallavi Wagh & Sneha Biranje. Cinematography by Damodar Naidu and editing by Manoj Sankla are the other credits.
