Four Marathi films to release simultaneously on 1st February
The production of Marathi films is on the rise in this new year too. The release of four Marathi films simultaneously on 1st February is the best example growing competition among Marathi film makers. And they have been using different marketing strategies to attract audience to the theatres. Eros International and Everest Entertainment are the two big banners behind presentation of cricket based film ‘Me Pan Sachin‘ which is written and directed by Shreyas P Jadhav, who has himself played cricket at the state level. In this male dominated film Swapnil Joshi, Abhijeet Khandkekar and Priyadarshan Jadhav play lead roles along with Kalyanee Muley, Anuja Sathe, Suhita Thatte & Avinash Narkar.
‘Sarva Line Vyasta Aahet‘ seems to be a comedy based entertaining film with a team of five girls along with lead artistes Siddharth Jadhav and Saurabh Gokhale. Produced by Amol Shiram Utekar and directed by Pradeep Raghunath Mestry will this film present a Bollywood style comedy or will have its own originality, remains to be seen this Friday. Pramod Prabhulkar and Madhurani Prabhulkar who run their Miracles acting academy, will be presenting their next film ‘Youth Tube‘ which deals with an important timely subject which questions today’s parents, social media is distancing their children from them? The film has offered scope to 300 students from their acting academy. The fourth film which is also releasing on Friday is Nipun Dharmadhikari‘s national award winning film ‘Dhappa‘ which was judged as the best film on national integration. Involvement of Girish Kulkarni as producer and supporting actor in this film in the company of a group talented children and some versatile artistes is the highlight of this film.
