Known for her typical dance steps, Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit along with Sridevi, joined the 500^th show of ‘Marathi Taraka’ in Mumbai recently. Madhuri not only played the special guest on the occasion; but also entertained the audience, by performing few steps on her favourite song ‘Hamari Atariya Pe…’ amid loud applause from the audience. Mr. Vishwajeet kadam, Secretary of Bharati Vidyapeeth and few other celebrities from Marathi entertainment industry, were present on the occasion.

This special programme was a tribute to Madhuri Dixit and Sridevi, as the 15 marathi dancing actresses comprising of Varsha Usgaonkar, Amruta Khanvilkar, Kranti Redkar, Neha Pendse, Bhargavi Chirmule,Prajakta Mali, Hemangi Kavi, Shruti Marathe, Kishori Godbole, Shruti Palav, Ketaki Palav, Teja Deokar, Sara Shravan, Sanskruti Balgude, Shweta Shinde,  & Prachi Pisat presented the dances on the songs from the films of Madhuri and Sridevi.  Needless to mention that they received appreciation from these two veteran actresses.
