Popular Marathi film celebrities will take part in the Maharashtra Celebrity Cricket League which will be hosted by Thane Municipal Corporation along with filmmaker Viju Mane, Aakash Pendharkar & Sandeep Juvatkar with the support of Dilip Bhagat of D.B. Entertainment. The event will be held at renovated Dadoji Kondev Stadium Thane. During the official announcement of this tournament, Hon. M.P. Dr. Shrikant Eknath Shinde was also present along with other dignitaries and captains of all the teams, when the Trophy and theme song of this tournament was also unveiled.

Total six teams will be participating in this celebrity Cricket League. And the captains of these teams will be as follows: Sanjay Jadhav- Mumbaiche Mavale, Ankush Choudhari- Banedar Thane, Siddharth Jadhav- Konkanche Wagh, Mahesh Limaye- Khatarnak Mulshi, Saurabh Gokhale- Parakramni Pune & Vinod Satav- Ladhavaiyye Media. The matches will be played between 1^st February and 3^rd February 2019.
